“disgusting marketing tactics”Adeniyi is a co founder of mysten labs and quite important on sui. For months he told people that $WAL stakers would get a big airdrop and that they are going to be "the happiest people in the world". In reality there was only one very small airdrop for stakers since launch. The token is down like 90% and all the stakers lost a ton of money. We have seen this countless times in crypto but usually its the community making up the rumours of stake 4 airdrop and not the fucking founders lying to their community for years. Because in a market like crypto where we have a lot of big accounts that actually arent reputable at all that still manage to attract newer participants that arent aware and make them fall for their shill campaigns losing them a lot of money. In its current state I still have a lot of questions wether he will manage to pull this whole thing off and if he can fight people gaming the system successfully but im curious to see how this plays out.
