He created the $BALD token, that shit ran up to $100M+ and then he rugged the entire LP. Was one of the first base memecoin season and the one that felt most organic to me. Token was instantly dead, Milkyway made a couple millions off this, everyone else lost. Even funnier is that he and multiple other big CT people were under the impression that he shouldnt even be blamed for rugging everyone lmao (e.g. heart and degenspartan)

In reality it was because they announced that their airdrop will be an mDrop (essentially a vested airdrop, not fully unlocked at TGE) the community very much disliked that and brought up arguments against that. The Ika team didnt want to hear anything of this and just waited till the drama calmed down. 2) Suddenly you need to complete KYC in order to claim the airdrop (they never mentioned this anywhere before). Obviously they allowed every jurisdiction to mint the airdrop NFT (they pocketed this sui, was probably a couple millions) but not every jurisdiction is allowed for KYC. So some people were allowed to pay for the nft but not to claim it LOL. Im not qualified enough to have an opinion on the tech side so no idea if their product is actually useful or not.

Echo gives retail investors the opportunity to invest in projects in an early stage and potentially fair valuation which is usually something only VCs have access to. Cant even name how many useful projects he launched but Llamaswap is another one of my favourites, great aggregator without any hidden fees. I really dont agree with his takes on politics or the market (its quite literally a well known meme by now that he is basically wrong about stuff 90% of the time) I think he simply doesnt know when its the right time to take the opposite site of a consensus trade and when not. But I think apart from that he is a good guy. He bought coins for frens while they were away from pc with size and sent them the stack so he is definitely trustworthy.

They launched a leaderboard and took multiple snapshots but this was only to farm users and not to actually reward them. Even years after their snapshots and TGE there is still no airdrop. Also they take a 0.3% origin fee for borrowing which is very scammy and shows that they just want to extract
