He’s got a wild range of ideas, from crypto and decentralization to something he calls “The Network State,” which is basically the idea of building digital countries from online communities. He’s got a Stanford background and helped build and sell some major startups like Counsyl and Earn.com, then became Coinbase’s first CTO. What I like about him is how fast and dense his thinking is, he’s always throwing out ideas that make you stop and think, even if you don’t always agree with them. That said, some of his stuff can come off a little intense or utopian, and not everyone’s a fan of his more radical takes on how society should evolve. Still, whether you’re into crypto or just into new ideas, following Balaji is always thought-provoking.
