“Lost Polymarket badge, accused of scam”There is chatter in the community that CarOnPolymarket (his X handle) defrauded the [ChoiceMarket](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/choice_markets) project of $5,000 on a partnership deal. He kept the money for himself while accusing them of scam, without providing any evidence to back up his claims. The money he took from the deal, he decided to use at his own discretion. In this case, he [told the community](https://ghostarchive.org/archive/6AvLo) that he donated it to charity through the Red Cross, attaching a screenshot of a successful donation receipt in his post. Some people were able to trace the on-chain transaction, and according to the context, those funds were actually [transferred](https://polygonscan.com/tx/0x694b8f23a73199805c1f1d49fc53a2b9d5cc8b82a27d5499700a4ecae13536f9) to a Polymarket trading account. As a result of all these events, Car lost his Polymarket affiliate status, and there is currently a [slash-round](https://app.ethos.network/activity/slash/450) being organized against him on Ethos regarding this issue. The entire sequence of events and discussions in the community prompted me to capture this in a negative review. At the very least, it is useful for summarization purposes. Apart from that, judging by the pattern of his behavior, he could simply accuse you of scam, keep the money for himself, and make up any reason for spending it, whether it is charity or saving the world. The best course of action for him would have been to just return the money to the partner if he truly believed the deal was questionable. I dug a bit deeper into the history of ChoiceMarket and found out that this project previously underwent a rebranding. Its former brand was called [MetaOraclePro](https://www.rootdata.com/projects/detail/MetaOracle?k=NDQ0OQ%3D%3D), an ecosystem project on Sui/Aptos/BSC. I did not notice any strange behavior, accusations of scam, or anything like that. By the way, ChoiceMarket seems more transparent and convincing than Car. At the very least, because they themselves are invested in this drama and are reposting community posts on the topic, calling for an AMA: https://x.com/billywen_/status/2070434687294587137on Car · 622· 4mo ago · negative198
