“Polygon, A Former Glory?”I remember when there were only three networks, and Polygon was one of them. With its Matic token and ultra-low fees, many projects were launched on Polygon. Now it seems a bit rusty, but I don't know why, but it still works well and the fees are still affordable. Some important projects are launched on Polygon, which keeps liquidity flowing into the network.

“Nothing special yet, except nostalgia”I tried Matic, now better known as POL after rebranding, back during the 2021 bull run. At that time, it was an alternative to Ethereum because of its lower fees and faster transactions. But now, with Optimism coming in with OP Stack technology, and Arbitrum also bringing their own tech, I think Polygon has lost some of its users. On top of that, many of the OG Polygon team members have left and started their own projects.

Their push into zk, CDK, and AggLayer could be that catalyst. If they execute, Polygon won’t just be the cheap L2 — it can lead the next wave of Ethereum scaling.

“Great Chain, Great Team”I used to be Matic power users before the rebranding and shift to Polygon today, great experience then Fast forward to today, the chain has evolved, becoming more opinionated and focused around RWAs and payments. It’s a different direction but well-aligned with where the ecosystem is heading.
