“Has the potential to break into web2 like Polymarket did”I've been playing FDF for over a week now and I'v genuinely found it fun. I've played FPL for several years, but I've always been frustrated with the rigid scoring system and gameable mechanics -- I couldn't just pick the players that I think will perform the best. I don't get that with FDF though because the scoring feels holistic. Yes, there have been some bumps with the bot attack and the -50% market crash, but I view that as bullish failure. Nothing fundamentally changed -- the app just crashed because it got too popular. They are still tweaking the economics and game mechanics, which is good because no matter how much beta testing you do, you will always encounter the real problems in production. I also like that they have a PWA on mobile, so UK players aren't barred from it, like they would be on the app store. The PWA is responsive, feels like a mobile-native app and has become my preferred mode of using FDF, especially while watching matches. I can't wait for more social, FPL-like features like teams.

“Another one bites the dust”When will projects learn not to treat their airdrop lightly? If you farm your users, you have no excuse when said users turn on you for screwing them over. I did not farm Eclipse, but I know many people who did for the better part of a year and got Scroll'd. Given that the biggest app was a clicking game to farm txns, the team has no excuse not to reward the users who got the chain's txns metrics to where they are. Yes, you can argue that these are low quality users who don't really contribute to the chain and will probably leave as soon as they get their airdrop, but WHY THEN DID YOU INCENTIVISE LOW QUALITY USERS TO ARTIFICIALLY INFLATE YOUR METRICS?

“Daylight Robbery”Illuvium raised $60M from VCs and retail to spend 4 years making a generic asset "game" with no meaningful gameplay. ILV is down 99.1% from ATH and the NFTs they sold long before they had anything resembling a game are now worthless. I have no idea how their Ethos score isn't sub 1000. “The dog who saved Solana”Back in late 2022, Solana was 100% dead. It was never going to come back. Yet, the word "BONK" and hey wallet revived what would go on to be a the chain of the cycle. Even though hey wallet faded away and people no longer "BONK" CT users tokens, the BONK team kept building, launching a successful TG bot and now a serious pumpfun competitor. What this team has achieved is genuinely something to marvel at.
