on MLO · 2065· 12mo ago54“VC project pretending to care”Allora gives off heavy VC vibes where the community is just a marketing tool. They hyped everyone up for months, got people to run nodes, build threads, push awareness and when the token dropped they acted like none of it mattered. Token dumped instantly and somehow the users still have to buy and stake to get a boost. It is all backwards.

on Allora · 1587· 11mo ago · negative16“High risk high noise”Overdose definitely knows how to hunt early low caps, but the whole vibe is super high-risk and hype-heavy. Useful to watch for market sentiment, but not something I’d blindly follow.

on OverDose · 1404· 11mo ago · neutral16“Influence vs. Controversy”Shaw definitely played a big role during the AI meta, no doubt about that. He got people to believe in the space and set the stage for AI agents in Web3. But at the same time, his journey is full of accusations of insider trading, token manipulation, and projects that felt more like hype than substance. For every big narrative he helped push forward, there were also users left disappointed when the execution didn’t match the promises.

The trading fees are competitive, starting at 0.08% for makers and 0.1% for takers, which is lower than many other exchanges. The user interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through the platform. The OKX Wallet is also a standout feature, offering smooth integration with Web3 and dApps. Recently, OKX completed a major token burn of 65 million OKB tokens, reducing the total supply to 21 million. This move sparked a significant price surge, with OKB's value increasing by over 200% shortly after the announcement. This deflationary strategy has generated a lot of positive sentiment in the market. Additionally, their X Layer chain continues to provide improved scalability and lower gas fees. Overall, OKX is a reliable exchange with a lot of potential and OKX is one of my favorite exchanges, alongside Bybit and Binance.

Promises included KYC, wallet filtering, and "only the first $500M of KYC-approved deposits will qualify." Sounds great, but... 3️⃣ Nov 6 - Phase 2 starts. Genius idea: filter deposits through contracts by requiring TOS signatures only available on the website. Perfect, except no one could actually sign them due to Hourglass’s clumsy execution. ⚠️ As traffic surged, the site broke and let people deposit without signing TOS. When the cap hit $500M+, users begged the team to stop deposits because they couldn’t distinguish “honest” depositors from contracts. ✅ Team’s brilliant solution? Allow everyone to deposit (including contracts) and later apply pro-rata allocation. Next, KYC was pushed after deposits, causing issues for many, while a few lucky users passed KYC immediately. 🎯 Final absurdity: even if you passed KYC, you could still fail super-secret criteria and your wallet simply wouldn’t qualify. 👏 Lucky winners? Brand new wallets with zero prior activity, funded via Binance at the same time and with identical amounts, somehow managed to deposit, pass KYC, and pass final verification: https://debank.com/profile/0xce7083d3d78bb835cb6c0eab0583827441f823e3 https://debank.com/profile/0x4372c7eaa3fd1130134dc9037b7485b42793304e https://debank.com/profile/0x9edef2517628449532d6c4eb2cfff4ae862ab925 (there are many more) 🎲 Unstable Stable Pre-market opened on Binance at $7B FDV, dropped to $4B, but still clings to life. The Pre-Deposit campaign is already a mess, full of errors and failures. Stable is incubated by Manifold Trading, a trading firm with liquidity experience. They initially funded Plasma but created Stable after being cut from its seed round. CEO Joshua Harding left early due to delays and pressure; Brian Meler, former CFO, replaced him. 💡 Fun fact: Phase 1 deposits were mostly filled by BTSE and insiders before launch, creating artificial hype and insane APYs on Pendle. BTSE is also an official investor. Honestly, maybe it’s for the best I didn’t manage to deposit. At least masks are off now, and we can see real faces and what actually happened.

on Bessemer · 1438· 1y ago · neutral12“CoinFund deserves more score”To be honest, I’d say CoinFund is a tier 2–3 VC. Not every project has been a success, but they’ve backed some real winners like Hyperlane and plenty of other projects that don’t have their own token yet but already look really strong. That being said, their current score feels way underrated, and I think they definitely deserve more trust. They spot good projects, back them properly, and really know the space. Always cool to see what they support next.

It is just memes on top of more memes and nothing that suggests real growth or demand. I am not a fan of these casino style apps and this one does not help the reputation at all. It feels like a product built for hype but with no real purpose behind it.
