“A Controversial Start but a Promising Future”I was among the early users who actively participated in the Sui network during its testnet phase. From the beginning, the experience was impressive, especially due to its high transaction speed and the user friendly interface which was suitable even for beginners. During the testnet, I mostly focused on testing wallets, token transfers, deploying smart contracts, and exploring early decentralized applications. The transaction speed was truly remarkable, and compared to other networks, confirmations happened instantly. This reflected the well engineered design and modular structure of Sui, which thanks to its parallel transaction execution architecture, delivered outstanding performance. However, one downside of the experience was how the SUI token launch was handled in the beginning. Despite months of voluntary participation from testnet users, no public airdrop was allocated to them. This created noticeable disappointment within the community since many expected their efforts during the testnet to be recognized or rewarded in some way. That said, after the mainnet launch, the Sui ecosystem grew rapidly. Applications like Deep, Scallop, Cetus, and SuiSwap demonstrated the real potential of this network. The DeFi platforms on Sui offered a smooth user experience, low fees, and fast wallet connectivity, which helped regain a lot of trust within the community. Overall, although the start had its challenges, Sui is now considered one of the most promising networks in the Web3 space. Its high speed, solid user experience, and fast growing decentralized application ecosystem all point toward a strong future. In my opinion, if the development team continues to improve the infrastructure and stay connected with the community, Sui has a bright path ahead.on Sui · 1779· 1y ago15
