Robinhood is the exception — they already have it, they already trust it, they just didn't know it did crypto too. The trending meme section is genuinely dangerous for FOMO but it's also the most accurate real-time retail sentiment indicator I've found. If something is trending on Robinhood Crypto, the retail wave is already coming. Useful signal even if I don't trade there myself.

But the Sun connection always sat in the back of my mind — not enough to avoid it completely, enough to keep positions small and move funds out quickly after trades. The exchange is functional. The trust ceiling is low. There's no specific red flag I can point to, just a general feeling that this isn't where I want serious money sitting long-term.

on HTX · 1463· 3mo ago · neutral0“No VC dump hanging over it, that alone is rare”88% of SYN already in circulation with no venture capital unlocks incoming. That structural cleanliness is harder to find than the actual trade thesis. Options DEX on Hyperliquid filling the gap Deribit leaves in decentralized derivatives — that's a real problem worth solving. Small size, watching how Hypercall handles volume when real traders show up. If it holds liquidity, this runs further.

This isn't a misunderstood DeFi philosopher. This is a person who caused real harm to real people across multiple contexts. Account should have been the last thing anyone was paying attention to.

Started using it anyway after the Apple Pay thing made it stupid easy to fund. Now I check it daily, the leaderboard is actually a good way to find people worth following. Added perps recently too which I've started using. Genuinely one of the few crypto apps I open without feeling like it's a chore.

Now pivoting to a payments app on Base. I understand the logic. The people who funded the node sale don't get to understand the logic — they just get the losses.

Yeah 87% is sports but that's just where the money is. The political and economic markets are where the real information lives. Useful tool, keeping a position. CryptoRank.io

Technology is real, team is responsive, product works. $100k bug bounty to crack an encrypted wallet — that's confidence in your own cryptography. Privacy narrative is at the beginning of its cycle. One of the few projects where I believe in the product, not just the speculation.

on octra · 1442· 4mo ago0“Turned out to be what they hunted”Spent years positioning as the fraud police of financial markets. Then got caught running the same fraud they accused others of. The ETH short at $220 target was a gift to bulls. Good riddance honestly — hard to feel sympathy when you built a reputation on honesty and sold it for $20M.

Every ZK L2 on Ethereum is built on foundations Zcash laid. Shielded pool growing, halvings incoming, privacy narrative heating up. Late recognition is still recognition. Been accumulating quietly.

Then watched them change the unlock terms after the presale closed and put a drainer in the verification channel. This project used community loyalty as a resource to extract from. Disgusting.

Then they hit us with a $7 registration fee, locked tokens for up to 9 months, and the chart dumped 30% immediately. Someone sold before the claim window opened. This is exactly why people lose trust in these projects. Hard to forgive.
