“Loyal holder and great artist”I always knew Jay as one of the biggest holders of my NFT project and someone who’s been super supportive from day one. “The worst guy in abstract team”People like him are exactly why the Abstract ecosystem is still tiny – mostly full of degen/Ponzi projects and random NFT collections. Phil from Jigen was kind enough to intro me to Mason so we could explore potential synergy between Abstract and my company. I also had a few great projects (where I’m an advisor) that could actually bring real value to any ecosystem. Mason never once showed up in the group chat or even said hi – despite multiple pings over months. Half a year later, I got added to the Abstract builders group and called it out – he straight up ignored me again. Eventually I DMed him just to ask if ghosting like that is standard practice at Abstract. No apology – just a cold “How is the building of your project going?” I replied within a minute. He never responded. Still hasn’t read the message a month later. At this point, I wouldn’t build on Abstract or recommend it to anyone unless the team changes or expands. Your Head of Ecosystem should be the most eager to grow the ecosystem – not the cockiest guy on the team. I would even slash him, but I have not enough points yet.
