“A young project, but I'm not sure about its necessity and prospects”I want to provide some statistics from which you can draw your own conclusions: Smaller DeFi footprint vs top L1s: TVL $76.9M, DEX volume $1.08M/24h, active addresses ~28.8k/24h, fees paid $645/24h (Algorand). By comparison, Solana shows TVL $11.80B, DEX volume $5.09B/24h, ~2.87M active addresses, and $18.64M fees paid/24h. Developers and capital still congregate on ecosystems like Solana, Hyperliquid etc, which also post high throughput and rapid finality. But big pluses of this project are: - Low, predictable fees: 0.001 ALGO minimum per tx - Uptime + security posture: Foundation says six-plus years with zero downtime under Pure PoS So in short - great tech, still chasing liquidity and users

“high-performance Layer 1”I used this blockchain to make cheap withdrawals from the Coinlist exchange, but I haven't used it since. I can't say anything positive about this network; it's clearly not popular, and I wouldn't use it on a daily basis.

“Algorand is building real infra, fast finality, low fees,global projects. Their updates are progress not empty hype.”I like Algorand because they post about actual upgrades, not just random L1 flexing. Their roadmap talks about consensus upgrades, faster blocktimes and even new dev tools like AlgoKit. Feels like they are focusing on making the chain usable, not just too much talking.

“Solid Layer 1 That Feels Underrated”It’s surprising to see Algorand with a score around 1330 here, because in my view it’s far more established than that. Algorand has consistently delivered upgrades, like Algorand 4.0, backed by years of serious engineering effort. The project also has credibility few others can match, with Silvio Micali — a Turing Award winner — still actively driving the vision and representing Algorand on big stages like Paris Blockchain Week. For me, Algorand is definitely underrated. It has real technology, strong leadership, and a long-term approach that deserves more recognition than what the current score reflects.
