“Hype and utility”I have a mixed opinion about Kaito, but I fell for a positive review in the end Kaito has a clear value proposition: reducing the chaos of Web3 information by unifying tweets, podcasts, research, and forums into an AI-driven platform. That’s a real need in crypto, and if executed well it could become infrastructure-level useful. The idea of tokenizing attention through Yap points is also interesting, since it rewards contribution instead of just passive consumption. Add to that the institutional backing from names like Dragonfly and Sequoia, plus transparent tokenomics and a willingness to adjust algorithms after criticism, and you have a project that at least tries to play seriously. The problem is that execution has been shaky. Token distribution favored whales, volatility has been brutal, and upcoming unlocks represent constant sell pressure. Incentives are not fully aligned either: when attention is the currency, clickbait and shallow engagement tend to win, not quality. And while the ambition of combining AI + blockchain data sounds great on paper, scaling it without bias, manipulation, or noise is far from trivial. My take: Kaito is one of those projects that could either mature into something genuinely useful for the ecosystem or fade as just another hype-driven experiment. The direction looks promising, but until the system shows it can handle fairness, sustainability, and real adoption beyond speculation, I’d stay cautiously optimistic rather than fully bullish. Disclaimer: my perspective is somewhat biased, since I personally made good money trading their NFTs and also received a solid airdrop from Kaito. That experience colors my view, even if I try to remain critical.on Kaito AI 🌊 · 1841· 1y ago25
