Born on Solana, it’s managed to stay relevant and expand across the Solana Virtual Machine ecosystem without losing its essence. What I appreciate most is the consistency: transparent, efficient, and reliable. It’s rare in DeFi to find a product that gives you that sense of security over time, and Orca has achieved it. I don’t have much to complain about here, I’m satisfied with how they’ve handled things, and it’s one of the few protocols I would openly recommend because it has earned that trust from users.

We have to point that sometimes in the early days Solana literally stopped the blockchain and we hope doesn't happen again

The dev team is top tier, the advisors are well chosen, and they’re giving users the importance they deserve by handing them power over the platform through the upcoming NFT collection. They’ve also nailed the marketing side with the gem farming campaign, which brought in attention and engagement in a clever way. On top of that, I really appreciate their decision to reward users who got the annual and monthly pass with both whitelist and an airdrop for the collection they’re about to launch. Cerebro is also among the pioneer protocols recognizing Ethos as a valid metric to decide which users deserve rewards and which don’t. Put all this together, and you get one of the products the ecosystem was genuinely missing. I’m excited to see how their NFT sale plays out.

We were all so new, and blockchain tech felt so disruptive, that we believed everything was the future of finance. Polkadot sold that dream masterfully. On paper it sounded revolutionary, but in practice it turned into a product with zero real development, abandoned by its own team, and with no integration into any real-world or human use case. It’s just an outdated structural framework that no relevant project is touching anymore. The whole parachain narrative was the hook, basically selling the Layer 2 idea before Layer 2s were mainstream. It was clever marketing back then, and Kusama’s parachains gave the illusion of being a smart investment. But in reality, it trapped investors who locked up their DOT to vote in parachain auctions, only to get poor rewards and see their capital effectively vanish in the process. Today, Polkadot attracts no attention, has no visible progress, and stands as a cautionary tale of hype without substance. Gavin Wood was once a highly respected figure, but over time, his credibility has eroded along with the project’s relevance.

It’s a clear reset, and while the circumstances of the move are hard to ignore, it will be interesting to see how he adapts his style and builds a presence in a different environment.

It’s always inspiring to see someone begin from the very bottom and climb the ladder two steps at a time. If you're thinking of keeping up with Felix, I hope you've been training hard.

He promised that everyone who helped him would receive a bonus and be included in the airdrop. However, after getting enough support and votes for Humanity Protocol, Terence broke his word and gave nothing to those who backed him.

on mitch · 1260· 1y ago · negative18“Betting on virality”Kizzy is one of those projects that started quietly and kept building until people began to take notice. What began as a small experiment on Monad’s testnet has turned into one of the most promising social betting apps out there. The concept is simple but powerful: you can bet on how well tweets or X accounts will perform over time turning social engagement into a game of prediction and insight. What makes Kizzy stand out isn’t just the idea, but how well it’s executed. The design feels fresh, the UI/UX is clean and responsive, and the artistic direction gives the app a distinct personality. It’s got that sense of polish you rarely see at this stage of development. That said, it’s still missing a key ingredient to tie everything together a token, an NFT layer, or something that connects the betting system more directly with the blockchain itself. Right now it feels slightly off-chain in spirit, even if it runs on Monad. Still, the potential is huge. If they manage to integrate the right economic layer when Monad’s mainnet launches, Kizzy could easily become one of the flagship apps of the ecosystem.
