on Eclipse · 384· 12mo ago · negative16“Perp dex architect”Started noticing Vlad around July 2025, and this guy just blows your mind with his energy. founder and CEO of Lighter, and he literally changed the entire perp trading with his 0-fee model idea. built a Hyperliquid-level competitor without launching his own L1. thats a move fr. most founders would say "too hard", but Vlad just did it. ngl, saw him IRL at Lighter launch, and this dude is real. doesn't hide when FUD flies - instead, replies with pure technical breakdowns. thats what i respect tbh. when Lighter went public, check who showed up. founders and execs from Robinhood, BitMEX, Wintermute, LayerZero, EigenLayer, Succinct, Kalshi. doesn't this say everything? this isn't hype, this is real credibility in the industry. these people don't congratulate just like that. Lighter is a serious perp dex, not another attempt. Vlad is a true alpha who knows what he's doing!

As someone who spent 2-3 years hunting airdrops, I can tell you that endless farming seasons usually have no clear endgame. The only good thing these campaigns do is onboard newbies to crypto, helping them learn how web3 works and how to actually earn here. But for veterans, it's just noise.

Volodymyr Nosov runs this as CEO and he's a real one. always helping newbies through their ByHi youtube show with his friend Gleb. met some team members IRL in early 2023 and talked about their placement strategy for coming years. they're a solid competitor to tier 1 CEXes you can actually trust. the earn rewards are insane compared to other platforms. 18.5% annually on USDT, over 17% on lending programs. yeah those numbers are real. you can pull out anytime but if you exit before period ends you lose the earnings, fair trade-off for flexibility and low risk. the WBT token pumped 300% over past year which shows community trust isnt just talk. thats your metric right there. use it often but not as main on/off ramp. the earn features are where it shines. buying crypto through Google Pay is simple, their events are generous, support team actually helps when needed. app is easy to understand, fees are okay and if you grab a good affiliate deal you save on trading fees. usability is clean, no complaints on UX. id rate experience 8/10.

However, there were commissions compared to Polymarket at the time, and the platform wasn't user-friendly enough for me, so I withdrew my funds and forgot about it. They also require KYC, which makes me think this platform is only suitable for the US and maybe the EU, but not for third-world countries. The MVP is working though, so it gets a neutral review from me.

Mostly, I have no doubts about this product, but the latest situation left a mark on this CZ product. The 11.10 crash provoked a large flow of liquidations on the exchange due to an attack on wrapped assets. I believe Binance, as a Tier 1 exchange, should protect its users from such exploits.
