Co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, Avery Ching is recognized as a technically rigorous builder with deep expertise in distributed systems and blockchain infrastructure from his decade at Meta working on Diem and large-scale data systems. Known for explaining complex technical concepts like BlockSTM, MoveVM, and parallel execution with clarity, he brings a builder's focus to shipping real-world infrastructure—stablecoins, trading engines, and developer tools—rather than hype. While some criticize Aptos tokenomics and token distribution fairness, his engineering excellence, accessibility, and steady commitment to long-term ecosystem growth command consistent respect across the community.

“Visionary and Trustworthy Leader”I’ve closely followed Avery Ching’s work, and he consistently impresses as a thoughtful, skilled, and trustworthy leader. Before co-founding Aptos Labs, he contributed to Diem at Meta, gaining firsthand experience building secure and scalable systems. At Aptos, he focuses on developing a blockchain that is fast, low-cost, and intuitive for both developers and users. What stands out most is his ability to balance technology and community; he designs systems that work effectively in the real world, not just in theory. Watching his approach is like seeing an architect carefully shape a city, every detail counts, from structure to the people who will use it. While Aptos is still early-stage, Avery’s consistent, hands-on, and thoughtful leadership gives me full confidence that it will set a new benchmark for user-friendly, efficient blockchain ecosystems.

“Visionary Leader”As a product manager with a background in software development, I see Avery Ching as a strong technical leader in Web3. His experience scaling systems at Meta and now building Aptos shows he understands what real infrastructure demands. Aptos is not just another Layer 1; it is built for performance, modularity, and long-term scalability. Avery’s approach is developer focused, not hype driven, and he consistently communicates with clarity and purpose. In a space full of noise, he brings real engineering to the forefront. That is the kind of leadership Web3 needs: people who ship, scale, and stay grounded in the tech that matters.
