“Tried to Ruin My Reputation”Unfortunately, I feel it’s necessary to leave this negative review on Br8ted’s Ethos. I see many positive comments for Br8ted, and initially thought about letting this go. However, after some reflection, I realized that the purpose of Ethos is to ensure our community is aware of both the good and bad experiences we have with our peers. My experience with Br8ted was extremely negative, and the way he and some of his associates treated me was unacceptable. Br8ted initially approached me to share whitelist spots for my art project on Abstract with his community. We agreed on the terms and moved forward. A few weeks later, I received a DM from someone in Br8ted’s network, Br0s, who was upset that I hadn’t allocated any mint spots to their own community. Br0s had cheated their way into one of my free mint spots forms—spots that were reserved for my close friends in Web3—by having their entire community spam a Google form. When I called them out and denied their request for additional spots, Br0s became hostile, even going so far as to threaten my family. I was shaken by this experience and thought it was over—until Br8ted got involved. Br8ted DM’d me with a screenshot of an old conversation I had with Br0s about my project from months earlier. The screenshot was taken out of context and referenced a brainstorming discussion where I had considered different mint prices and supply numbers. Using this out of context screenshot, Br8ted launched a public FUD campaign against me and my project. This escalated to him or someone from his network reaching out directly to my network and even to my minting platform partner, Mintify, in an attempt to damage my reputation and derail my project. They wanted mintify to drop our partnership. What upsets me the most is that Br0s and Br8ted positioned themselves and the web3 community as victims—when in reality, I didn't do anything wrong, professionally or morally, yet I was the one who faced harassment, public shaming, and had to rebuild friendships and professional relationships with people who were misled by their narrative. Worst of all, my family was threatened as a result of their actions. For Context: In my initial conversation with Br0s, I casually discussed a potential mint price of 0.01 ETH and a supply of 500–1000 NFTs, with 500 being free. - These were brainstorming figures, not final numbers. - These figures were never publicly announced, nor did any of my WL collab partners operate with them. - Every whitelist collaboration, including Br8ted’s, was provided with the same official details: mint price 0.029 ETH, supply 1500. Final Thoughts: Unfortunately, I have to warn others in the space—working with Br8ted as a fellow founder was a terrible experience that did way more damage than good, I will never work with him again, and strongly advise other founders to avoid him as well.tut™ · 1562· 1y ago · negative45
