“Best Club on the Internet”I started my journey flipping NFTs but found a home with Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). The global community is diverse and talented from entrepreneurs, artists, and many other backgrounds and skills. Club membership provides access to experiences both in real life (e.g. ApeFest) and digital (e.g. Otherside). In addition, BAYC has had many main stream partnerships with leading brands like BMW, Gucci, BAPE, and Adidas. In terms of entrepreneurs where I resonate closest, Bored Ape Yacht Club has created a Made by Apes program to support projects and businesses bought by the community. They continue to build in public and I'm here for it.

rere · 1071· 1y ago9“The NFT project that started it all - will forever have given the most”If you minted and ape and never sold, to this day you would've gotten: - 1 dog - 1 mutant - $ape airdrop - 5 apefests (NYC, NYC, hong kong, lisbon, and now las vegas) - dookey dash ticket pass / hvmtl / the forge - 3 mobile games (mobile game, dookey dash, dookey dash unclogged) - lifelong friends - a NFT token on the ethereum blockchain that will forever hold culture and lore Apes are apes, the distribution is still > 50%, it is the source of OG NFT holders. and idiots who didn't sell. it is the Bored Ape Yacht Club

The team has consistently delivered, from IRL events to the Otherside vision, and the community vibe is still strong. Say what you want, but it’s hard to deny the legacy BAYC built and continues to build.

erionesu · 1231· 1y ago9“"Bored Ape Yacht Club: The Cultural Phenomenon in NFT Space"”"As a neutral observer of the NFT space, I find BAYC's journey fascinating. With a 94% positive rating, it's clear the project has established a strong community presence. The iconic skull logo and banana emoji have become synonymous with Web3 culture. While some argue it's overrated due to celebrity endorsements and high price tags, others consider it underrated for its innovative approach to community building and utility. The zero-dollar entry point for engagement shows their commitment to community accessibility beyond just NFT holders. The project's success in maintaining relevance (1503 rating) despite market fluctuations speaks to their strategic vision and community management. Their expansion into various ventures, from gaming to merchandise, demonstrates business acumen beyond just digital art. Whether you're a supporter or critic, BAYC's impact on digital culture and the NFT landscape is undeniable. They've created a blueprint for how digital communities can evolve beyond just collecting. A fascinating case study in digital culture, community building, and brand development in the Web3 era. 🍌"

Sure, some folks have their criticisms, but to me, a lot of that comes down to how people chose to use their IP rather than how the team actually ran things. You have to give them credit they jumped into NFTs way before it was cool or even understood. Practically everything they tried was new territory. They didn’t just build a project; they created a movement that made countless people life-changing money. Yes, they made a lot themselves, but at the same time, they gave the community chance after chance to win big. They broke through into the mainstream in a way almost no other NFT project did front-page headlines, celebrity endorsements, the whole nine yards.

Antagonist.sats · 1286· 1y ago9“Iconic NFT Community & Culture”BAYC is a groundbreaking collection of 10,000 unique, algorithmically generated Ethereum NFTs launched by Yuga Labs in April 2021. Each ape grants access to exclusive perks—like members-only events, “The Bathroom” graffiti board, licensing rights, and airdrops like Mutant Apes.

yuzurich · 1168· 1y ago9“Not an Ape, But Still Part of the Journey”I don’t own a BAYC, but being part of the Otherside through my Koda has shown me how strong and creative this ecosystem really is. The BAYC team knows how to build culture, deliver experiences, and keep the community engaged, you can feel their impact even if you’re not holding an ape. Excited to see where Otherside and the whole Yuga universe go next.

Sarkar · 1319· 1y ago9“OG of NFTs”BAYC is the OG of all NFTs and it is a grail that every NFT collector wishes to pursue. I dropped in to one of their Spaces on X and it is like nothing before. It is held professionally, on point and interesting. That shows alot about the community and the team behind it.
