A prolific trader and early-stage opportunity hunter known for spotting emerging trends and identifying scams—particularly credited with exposing xUSD's depeg and the $GAIB fraud. Respected for unfiltered market insights and farming strategies across Blur, Friend.tech, and Berachain, though polarizing for blunt criticism and controversial projects like Blast On Bera, which failed after heavy promotion and drew accusations of extraction and rug-pulling from followers.

“I genuinely think cbb has other's best interest, which is rare in crypto. A long rant about reputation...”- I first heard about CBB from blur farming. Quiet, to himself, never said anything - CBB got interested in Friend.tech and we got introduced and acquainted there. He had a hyped launch and I bought 10 of his keys for ~20e. I dumped them for the tiniest profit (he made more money than me on fees) and I think that irked him a bit - We talked in DMs and decided to do some co-marketing together when he was early. We both wanted to farm friend.tech hard and so we found ways to grow from each other's mutual groups - CBB and I farmed friend.tech well and both got kinda burned in the end. Oh well. We still chat every once in a while since then in various groups - I think he's a no bullshit, very candid guy which as a lot of value in this space. He's willing to say what others aren't, which sometimes spills too far outside of CT and into politics/race/etc. It's a difficult line to balance and he's gone too far at times, but it hasn't made me think differently personally. I could see how it would offend others. - I can appreciate that CBB is VERY clear about the fact that he is just here to make money. Few people are afraid to admit this. He's very clear with his takes and why he thinks some things will succeed, and others won't. He's happy to take profits when they are there (wisely) and size into bets. I respect him deeply as a trader. - He's been critical of Ethos in the past, and that's fair too. If this product didn't have FUD, it wouldn't be worth a damn. It will only get better, and I hope to convince him over time that it will be better. - He's the best farmer of all time. He knows how to gain an edge AND deploy capital WITH SIZE. TBF I think this is one reason he secretly doesn't love Ethos - if successful, it represents some nominal threat to his ability to loop stuff, lol. - I have never ONCE felt like CBB has tried to his his followers as exit liquidity, dump on them, or mislead them. Even thru friend.tech he held much longer than anyone else did. He does care and acknowledge social capital The thing that made me write this though is that CBB was screaming from the rooftops that things were NOT right with multiple DeFi platforms. He used his platform to DO GOOD for people and help people get their $ out. CBB and his brother are very sharp and understand the space much more deeply than others - and show his knowledge is VALUABLE. CBB saved people a lot of money over the past 5 days, not because he acted selfishly (which 99% of crypto does) but rather selflessly- and shared critical, important, and valuable information with his platform.Serpin Taxt · 2000· 32d ago9
