I have since seen via the slash that its behaviour has changed drastically since it was first launched, now leaving nonsensical negative reviews left right & centre. “Best non KYC perps platform available”HL have proven that you don't need to introduce sleezy farming mechanics in order to build a loyal userbase, just produce a good product that works consistently & the users will come. Hyperliquid provides excellent liquidity and order execution for both spot & perps, and the team has responded extremely well whenever issues have arisen. I fully expect HL to be a direct competitor the major CEX's in the next few years.

Their social engagement scoring platform is a cool concept, and allows projects to actively encourage and reward users for the content they produce on X. However, I do feel like the attention economy is becoming extremely tiresome and gamed to an extent that it's no longer useful. Countless threads & posts generated using AI that simply regurgitate the a protocol's own talking points, this provides value to nobody. This isn't a critique of Kaito per se, but it is an issue that has been propagated by Kaito's model.

While not an entirely novel mechanic, the use of a buy & sell tax to repurchase a given NFT collection in a decentralised way has never been implemented in such a seamless way. It adds another layer to an ecosystem that desperately needs more liquidity.
