From 225 activities · Mar 2026Eclipse is a Layer 2 blockchain that promised fairness and community-driven development but systematically betrayed supporters through unfair token distribution, poor airdrop execution, and dismissive leadership. Early community members and ASC NFT holders who invested time and money felt farmed and excluded, while the team prioritized insiders and later engaged in bear-posting about their own project. The chain has become a ghost town with minimal adoption, abandoned apps, and widespread reports of scamming behavior, broken promises, and toxic community management.

Wellborn .eth · 1237· 1y ago · negative12“A highlight that turned out to be bitter”Eclipse is Layer-2 (second level) for Ethereum, but with a "highlight": it uses Solana technologies to be fast, powerful and cheap. The project posits itself as "Solana on Ethereum": you get the benefits of speed and efficiency while staying in the Ethereum ecosystem and its liquidity. About this project and its revolutionary technology I have heard for a couple of years at various cryptocurrency conferences. And it really looked very beautiful and, very importantly, needed for the market. That is, the team did not come up with a problem like most projects do, but took an existing one and started looking for a solution. Meanwhile, the closer the project was going to market, the more questions began to appear to it. Everything did not work very well. Usage was not intuitively easy for the user. Commissions were also not as low as on Solan. In general everything looked quite rough. But the team did not stop. The project went to market and launched its token. It is very remarkable that the main rewards for early activity were received by users who had been engaged in bullfighting. Just sit down and press the button. And for this they gave the main rewards. The same that kept liquidity, made exchanges and used different platforms - did not give almost anything. I didn’t even pay my commission. This approach is a shame to the crypto industry.

The good thing was i met, and made a lot of good friends and that bond grew stronger after.

Vandal🐉 · 1323· 1y ago · negative12“Unlimited potential ruined by bad decisions”I was one of the biggest supporters of Eclipse. Through this project I met some amazing people, many of which are still my friends. This project had everything anyone would have ever wanted. A passionate community, great tech and lots of people wanting to build on it. Everyone in this community, including myself, were certain they would win. Months after months of AMAs, get-togethers and motivational speech from the team led everyone to believe this. In the end, through a series of mindblowingly bad decisions, they destroyed everything. They gave us, the ASC NFT community, a horrendous allocation. That was the start of their downfall. Instead of owing up to their mistakes, they kept banning disappointed people. They claimed they were just banning the ones who were threatening them, but that was a lie. I was there and saw everything. Instead of making things right, they ghosted the discord server, leaving all their remaining community members in the dark. After a while, they made an announcement that the majority of the team was fired. They fired people who poured their heart and soul into the community, basically building it from scratch. I could go on for hours, giving a lot more details, but this review has already been too long so i'm gonna wrap it up here. Grateful for all the people I met here and all the experiences I got. I grew as a person and as a content creator because of Eclipse and I'll never forget it. But damn.. What a shame..

Robbit · 1227· 1y ago · negative12“overpromised, underdelivered, and left the community hanging”it’s frustrating because the idea wasn’t bad, the execution was. too much preaching, not enough building. the airdrop just exposed what everyone already knew there wasn’t enough value to sustain interest. people expected progress, and instead we got silence and disappointment.

glaze · 1330· 1y ago · negative12“Eclipse: Ambition Without Execution?”Eclipse came into the spotlight with a lot of hype, presenting itself as a bold modular blockchain vision. But the reality so far hasn’t lived up to the promises. Roadmaps keep shifting, communication feels inconsistent, and the actual delivery of working products is far behind expectations. While the pitch sounds exciting, what the community really needs is proof of execution — not just slides and announcements. Until Eclipse shows they can actually build and ship, it’s hard to take the narrative seriously, no matter how big the ambition.

Тотальная блокировка и потеря связи с здравым смыслом... это все об Эклипс.

No transparency about airdrop, tokenomics, team silent. Looks like its slow rug pull with 60 mld funding. They had community and screwed everything because of bad tge execution made only lose of community and project dont have any more chances to be successful. AVOID AT ALL COST, dont fall into false promises, they have nothing left to offer.

How to deceive your audience”If you want to see an example of how a project constantly hyped you up and encouraged you to do something, and then gave you nothing in return. It's like playing a game of deceive me. So this is about Eclipse and their community managers, the team. You guys messed up, why did you make it on-chain, it's unclear, you gave away pennies for NFTs. In general, it's idiotic behaviour, no consistency. They are now untrustworthy.

Pharaoh Cat · 1246· 1y ago · negative12“Just another Eth L2 but on solana”I didn't participate in Eclipse or bridge to it, but when I read about it, it just felt like another dead, useless L2 chain no one asked for or cares about. This L2 might be good for something specific, but opening it up as a public chain feels like a waste of resources, especially when it doesn't solve any real or critical problems. Another thing I can’t understand is why there’s even a token—it's basically worthless without real utility. It just looks like something for the team to eventually dump while others try to sell. Overall, Eclipse feels like unnecessary noise in an already overcrowded L2 space.
