“Feeling let down by the OG roll and token drop”I’ve been rooting for Eclipse for a while, liked the tech, the vision, and the Web3 vibe. But the way they handled OG roles and token distribution? That left a bad taste. It’s frustrating when a project talks one thing and does another, promising OG status or tokens to the community, then quietly redirecting value away from genuine users. That kind of move feels less like innovation and more like a bait and switch.

“Launch not executed properly”Eclipse is a good tech but they need to work more on their execution and what they actually call a community. I don’t know how you get to rewards tappers and neglect people with on chain records on your chain. It’s not all about the drop but about the long term use case. Most of these tappers won’t even use the chain again after the airdrop . It still has to be the onchain users. So I think they need to do better.

“Dissapointed”This is one of those SVM projects with a great campaign, but in the end, it let its own community down. OG NFT holders didn’t get the airdrop they deserved, and this project has a CM that’s super loud.

TGE 이후 Eclipse는 초기 온체인 유저들과 ASC NFT 홀더 등 불확실성 속에서도 커뮤니티를 지켜온 유저들은 토큰 분배 과정에서 극심한 불공정함을 느꼈습니다. 상장 직후 토큰 가격은 런칭가 대비 반토막 이상 처참하게 폭락한 것은 덤입니다. 추 후 전체 인력의 65%를 해고했어요. 새로운 CEO를 앉히며 방향성을 바꾼다는 명목을 내세웠지만, 토큰을 런칭하자마자 팀을 공중분해 수준으로 축소하는 것은 생태계를 이끌어갈 장기적인 비전은 처음부터 거짓말이었고, 책임감 없다는 게 밝혀졌죠. 이더리움 위에서 돌아가는 SVM(솔라나 버츄얼 머신) Layer 2라는 기술적 내러티브는 초기 VC들의 돈을 끌어모으는 데까지는 성공했습니다. 하지만 실질적인 킬러 DApp을 유치하거나 자발적인 유저 리텐션을 만들어내는 데는 철저히 실패했습니다. 프로젝트의 완성도와 사용성으로 승부해야 할 시점에 밋업 에어드랍 같은 일회성 이벤트에 기대어 수치를 조작하려는 모습은, 기술력과 온체인 활성도 부족을 여실히 드러냈습니다. 그 외 첫 번째 한국 밋업에서 한국 사람들에게 기념품을 던지면서 나눠주고, X에 유저들을 기만적으로 대하는 태도는 용서받을 수 없다고 생각합니다.

“Eclipse eclipsed”I had been following what Eclipse was doing after watching an interview with a French influencer on YouTube. I remember that same influencer, who I believe was acting in good faith, started having doubts about the credibility of the project's team, and therefore about the project itself, after that interview. In the end, his doubts turned out to be justified. The ecosystem isn’t good, which makes it a pretty mediocre L2. The worst part is the team’s posts on X, which openly mock their own community. Anyway, we’ll probably laugh about it in the future. For now, just stay away.

“We thought it was more than it actually is”Eclipse started very well and managed to build a strong community. Once I saw how strong the community around the Eclipse project was, I quickly got involved. Unfortunately, setting unrealistic expectations and false promises from the team ruined everything. Killed potential due to an incompetent team or just one big lie? The result is the same.

“Project is f$cked”They have unique idea, but shitted on community. OG users -- its people who helpful, faithfull and maxi on project. Today community is build under successfull airdop, but ES shitted on it and around 75% of OG users sold their tokens in first day. In other words -- project is cooked

They turned their back on the very people who gave them life. Now the chain is a ghost town, projects shutting down, migrating elsewhere, and trust evaporating. Bitz became a scam, ASC’s NFT floor is crawling toward zero, and every active builder I knew has packed up and left. This isn’t just about tech or token price, it’s about the human fabric of a project. Break that bond, and no upgrade, no venture deal, no marketing budget will save you. Eclipse didn’t lose liquidity. They lost their soul.
