“respected voice”my honest thoughts on ErikVoorhees after following him for some time nowerikvoorhees is one of the true ogs in crypto. founder of shapeshift and co founder of satoshidice back in the early days he has been around since bitcoin was basically nothing. now he runs venice.ai which is his privacy focused ai platform that stands out for not censoring or tracking users like the big tech alternatives.he has nearly nine hundred thousand followers on x and consistently posts thoughtful takes on bitcoin markets liberty and against government overreach. his style is calm intelligent and strongly libertarian which makes his content refreshing compared to the usual degen noise or hype. he actually built real products that served millions and has real skin in the game from the very beginning of the industry.on the flip side his strong principles and anti establishment views can come across as too extreme or idealistic for some people. shapeshift went through big changes including decentralizing and dealing with heavy regulation which led to some criticism over the years. like many long time bitcoiners he stays very principled even when it might limit short term business opportunities.overall erikvoorhees feels like one of the most respected and consistent voices in crypto who actually stands for something beyond just making money. if you value history principles and clear thinking on freedom and markets he is an excellent follow. a class act in an industry full of loud characters. genuine respect for the long term contribution.

He built Satoshi Dice one of the first successful crypto applications. and later founded ShapeShift where he spent years fighting regulatory pressure to protect users right to transact freely. Yes the VVV/Venice token launch drew some criticism but the allocation was publicly disclosed and Venice itself stands for something important private censorship resistant AI. That vision matters. And let's not forget he was one of the few who publicly called out SBF before the collapse. That alone shows he prioritizes truth over politics. Legendary status earned.
