“The best of the best EVM. If you don't know what MetaMask is, then you know nothing about WEB3”I discovered Metamask in 2022 and since then it became my main wallet for web3. It is very simple to use and at the same time has enough power for advanced stuff. The installation takes just a couple of minutes and then you can already connect to dapps, exchanges or nft markets. One of the best things about Metamask is that it supports many networks. Ethereum, Polygon, BNB chain, Arbitrum and so on. Adding a new network is just a few clicks, nothing complicated. Swaps inside the wallet also work quite fast, and if you need to bridge tokens between networks you can also do it without leaving the app. The team behind Metamask updates the wallet quite often. Sometimes it is small changes in the interface, sometimes it is new features or better security. For me this means the project is alive and moving forward. I really like that feeling. What makes it special is that on one hand even a total beginner can start using it without any guides, and on the other hand more experienced users have enough tools to play with defi, farming or advanced network settings. It is kind of a balance between simplicity and functionality. For me personally Metamask is the wallet that opened the door to the real web3. I used it with decentralized exchanges, I connected to nft markets, and even tried some new layer2 networks. The site of the project is also helpful, they have a hub with a lot of info and tips. In my opinion if you want to start your journey into web3 you should begin with Metamask. It is not perfect, sometimes it can be slow or confusing, but in general it is the best entry point that combines comfort, security and flexibility.
