Dungeons of Fortune is a Web3 dungeon-crawler game that raised millions in April 2025 but abandoned the project shortly after launch, with the team going silent and no updates since late April. The token and NFT prices collapsed dramatically within 24 hours, and the project is widely characterized as a rug pull that left investors and players with significant losses. While a small minority praise the game's concept and mechanics, the overwhelming consensus describes broken promises, aggressive pay-to-win monetization, lack of transparency, and complete absence of communication or roadmap delivery.

“Web3 RPG”Dungeons of Fortune comes across as a Web3 RPG that’s genuinely fun to keep an eye on. It combines its own token economy with engaging dungeon-based gameplay, offering a play-and-earn experience that feels different from traditional games. The on-chain mechanics add an extra layer of transparency and experimentation, which makes the project interesting beyond just the earning aspect. However, as with any crypto or GameFi project, it carries a higher level of risk. Anyone looking to get involved should take the time to understand how the system works and assess those risks carefully before diving in.
