What people say
Received · 39Given · 142“I don't use this exchange”This exchange is usually one of the first to list new projects, which can create short-term opportunities for traders. The downside is that many of these early listings turn out to be low-quality tokens with little long-term value. Being early doesn't always mean being profitable, so I prefer to focus on projects with stronger fundamentals rather than chasing every new listing. At the same time, the platform has been criticized for withdrawal delays, unexpected verification requests, and inconsistent customer support. Because of that, I see it as a place for short-term speculation rather than long-term asset storage. For holding larger balances, I'd rather use an exchange with a stronger reputation for reliability and security.

on Gate · 1469· 3mo ago · neutral0“Negative”There was a time when getting listed on a major exchange felt like the beginning of a project's journey. Today, it often feels like the finish line comes too early. The market has become increasingly driven by short-term speculation instead of long-term conviction. Communities spend months supporting a project, only to watch attention shift elsewhere within days. Price action dominates every conversation, while technology, adoption, and actual progress receive far less attention. What concerns me most isn't a single platform or feature. It's how quickly the ecosystem rewards hype over sustainability. Strong builders are expected to compete with endless waves of narratives that disappear as fast as they appear, making it harder for genuinely innovative projects to earn the recognition they deserve. Crypto still has incredible potential, but I hope we return to an environment where projects are valued for what they build rather than how quickly they can generate the next trading frenzy. That would be healthier for founders, investors, and the entire ecosystem.

on Binance · 1676· 3mo ago · negative0“Don't follow”Some people confuse notoriety with credibility. Exploiting a protocol for personal gain is one thing. The additional allegations involving child abuse material make this far more serious than just another controversial figure in crypto. These are accusations that carry enormous moral and legal weight, and they are not something that can be brushed aside with memes, engagement farming, or claims of being "misunderstood." No amount of technical skill, trading success, or online influence can erase actions that fundamentally destroy trust. The internet never forgets, and neither should the community when deciding who deserves attention or admiration. Stop glorifying people simply because they made headlines or generated profits. Character matters far more than performance. Some reputations aren't damaged by bad publicity; they're destroyed by the consequences of their own actions.

on Avraham Eisenberg · 900· 4mo ago · negative0“honest”Crypto shouldn't be all charts, metrics, and endless grinding. The people who make this space memorable are the ones who remind us there's a community behind the markets. That's why I appreciate Smolting. Beyond the memes and chaotic CT moments, there's a genuine ability to keep people engaged without sacrificing credibility. Even with a massive audience, choosing not to chase easy money through questionable promotions says a lot. Growing an audience is impressive. Keeping their trust is even harder, and that's where the real value is.

New projects appear every day, and without reliable information, it's easy to follow hype instead of making informed decisions. That's why I often use CoinMarketCap as a starting point. It lets me quickly check key data like market cap, trading volume, circulating supply, rankings, and historical price movements. Having everything in one place makes researching projects much faster. Of course, numbers alone aren't enough. I still look into the team's vision, the technology, and the real use case before forming an opinion. But as a first step, CoinMarketCap helps me decide which projects are worth researching further, and that's what makes it one of the most useful tools in crypto.

on CoinMarketCap · 1767· 4mo ago0“good cex”What has kept me using OKX isn't just the exchange itself, but the overall ecosystem around it. I like having everything in one place instead of switching between multiple apps. Whether it's checking market movements, exploring new on-chain opportunities, or managing assets across different networks, the experience feels organized and straightforward. The Web3 Wallet has also become one of the tools I use most because connecting to dApps and moving between chains takes very little effort. For me, convenience matters just as much as features, and that's where OKX has consistently delivered.

on OKX · 1838· 4mo ago · neutral0“trading app”One thing I like about Fomo is how simple it makes getting into crypto trading. The interface is easy to navigate, trades execute quickly, and the social side of the app adds another layer by letting you see what other traders are watching or buying. That said, it's not without flaws. Trading costs can add up if you're active, and customer support still has room for improvement. Even so, if you're looking for a platform that's beginner-friendly while still offering useful features for more experienced traders, Fomo is definitely worth checking out.

on fomo · 1641· 4mo ago · neutral0“Untrustworthy”This is exactly why trust is one of the most important things an exchange can build. When users deposit a newly listed token, they expect to be able to trade it immediately. If deposits are delayed while the rest of the market is already moving, those users lose valuable opportunities through no fault of their own. By the time funds are finally credited, the initial momentum is often gone. A listing should create excitement, not frustration. Exchanges have a responsibility to provide a fair experience, especially during the most active trading periods. Otherwise, users are the ones paying the price for problems they didn't create.

on MEXC · 957· 4mo ago · negative0“It's not necessary”The next phase of Web3 won't be defined by who launches the most chains, but by who creates the strongest data economy. DATA Foundation is positioning itself around a future where data becomes a programmable, verifiable, and valuable on-chain asset rather than something locked inside centralized platforms. Just as some of this cycle's biggest innovations introduced new asset classes to blockchain, DATA Foundation is exploring how trusted data infrastructure can unlock entirely new applications for AI, decentralized networks, and digital ownership. As more protocols rely on high-quality, permissioned, and transparent data, building the foundation for that future could prove just as important as building the applications themselves.

on The DATA Foundation · 1518· 4mo ago · neutral0“sophOFF”Crypto feels stuck in a strange cycle right now. Every few months a new narrative appears, projects rush to attach themselves to it, and suddenly years of previous promises seem to disappear overnight. One day a team is convinced that building an L2 is the future, the next day that vision is quietly abandoned in favor of whatever trend is currently attracting attention and capital. To me, Sophon has become one of the clearest examples of this pattern. What started with a specific direction and set of expectations has gradually turned into a series of pivots that make it difficult to understand what the long-term vision actually is. Innovation and adaptation are important, but constantly changing course without delivering meaningful results raises questions about whether there was ever a real conviction behind the original plan. The industry desperately needs a shift back toward execution instead of narratives. Hype can create attention, but it cannot replace products, users, or real value. Hopefully this phase comes to an end sooner rather than later, and the market starts rewarding teams that consistently build rather than those that simply move from one trend to the next. When that happens, projects with little substance will naturally fade away, leaving room for builders who are actually creating something worth staying for.

on Sophon · 1608· 4mo ago · negative0“Worth following”A lot of people in crypto build their audience by being the loudest in the room. Hunter has taken a different approach. He focuses on research, data, and clear communication rather than chasing attention or pushing narratives. What stands out most is the consistency. Whether markets are euphoric or fearful, his perspective remains measured and grounded in facts. As the leader of Bitwise, he brings the mindset of a traditional asset manager into an industry that often lacks discipline. He shares his thinking openly, explains the reasoning behind his views, and avoids the kind of hype that has become common across social media. You may not always agree with every conclusion, but you'll usually come away with a better understanding of what's actually happening in the market. That's increasingly rare in crypto, and it's a big reason why his content is worth paying attention to.

on Hunter Horsley · 1843· 4mo ago · neutral0“The boss of Base”What I respect most about Brian is that he has always been willing to focus on the bigger picture, even during the most challenging periods for crypto. Through Coinbase, he helped bring millions of people into the ecosystem and played a major role in pushing the industry forward. At the same time, Jesse and the team continue building Base with a clear vision for what the next generation of the internet could look like. It's exciting to watch builders who stay committed to innovation and long-term growth rather than short-term noise. Looking forward to seeing how Base evolves and what kind of opportunities it creates for users, developers, and the broader web3 ecosystem in the years ahead.
