“Another SocialFi platform”The idea of monetizing your reputation is literally in the air. Over the past year, we've already seen several products that build such a system. Ethos, Kaito, Cookie.Fun, Wallchain, Xeet, Mindo AI... It's clear that one or more of them will have a major impact in the near future. If only we knew which one... GiveRep is built on the Sui blockchain. They emphasize active participation, not just content consumption. The main hype around @GiveRep is related to expectations of a future airdrop and rewards for X activity. In this case, you're essentially investing your social activity and data, and there are no guarantees of token or long-term value for REP. For now, it looks like more point farming and anticipation of an airdrop. It's worth playing, but I'd be cautious and not have high financial hopes.

“Potential in GiveRep, but still feels like promises delayed”I’ve been active on GiveRep for months, and while the idea is great and the platform has a clean interface, it often feels like the airdrop promises are more of a waiting game. Many users including myself sometimes feel strung along, with accounts facing issues rather than real rewards delivered. There’s potential here, but unless things get more transparent and consistent, it feels a bit like the community is being used more than rewarded.

““Early Stage but Moving in a Clear Direction””The idea behind this project feels pretty fresh for the Sui ecosystem and even though it’s still early you can see where the potential is heading. It tries to build a meaningful reputation layer instead of just chasing hype and that already makes it stand out. The mechanics around onchain activity and engagement look simple enough for anyone to jump in and yet they still hint at deeper use cases down the road. Not everything is polished right now but the foundation is there and I’m curious to see how it develops as more users join in
