on Ripple · 1675· 1y ago11“the terrible oracle that’s wrecking polymarket”deeply disappointed with UMA protocol after repeated shady incidents on polymarket. first was the $7m bet on the ukraine-us mineral deal, where a whale used uma tokens to swing 25% of votes and force a false “yes” outcome, despite no deal existing. then came the ridiculous “did zelensky wear a suit” bet, again exploited through uma’s oracle. these events show how broken and easy to game their dispute resolution really is. polymarket called them “unprecedented,” but uma still hasn’t fixed anything. hard to trust an oracle that lets the rich rewrite reality.
