“So far so good”I’ve seen plenty of projects rush to launch, and while going tokenized from day one feels ambitious, it also raises questions about whether they’re prioritizing speed over substance. It’s easy to spark short-term excitement, but much harder to prove lasting value. Still, if they manage to back this bold move with consistent execution, it could mark them as one of the rare teams that actually turn early risk into long-term strength.

“Not enough”This is my second neutral review of Linea as an L2. While it’s positioned alongside strong players like Optimism and Arbitrum, the execution during its TGE was disappointing. The chain essentially went down for ~24 hours, with gas spiking to as high as 1 ETH per transaction — unacceptable for an L2 marketed as “better than mainnet.” Transactions came to a halt, and users were left stranded. This isn’t about allocation bias (I received a solid four-figure one); it’s about the tech. Similar issues were seen during past campaigns, where users paid ~$10 in gas fees for days. For a product at this stage, the team behind Linea clearly needs to improve.

“Loser”SOMO has been in existence for over a year, yet the project has demonstrated little meaningful progress or tangible value creation during this period. The lack of visible development suggests that the team is primarily waiting for more favorable market conditions rather than actively building or innovating through the current environment. The recent announcement regarding a presence on Abstract appears more opportunistic than strategic, seemingly driven by the pursuit of attention rather than a clear, long-term vision. Until SOMO can demonstrate genuine alignment with its community and deliver substantive progress, I remain unconvinced of its credibility as a brand or project.
