Received Β· 35Given Β· 72βA nice addition to the Hyperliquid ecosystemβI've been keeping an eye on trade.xyz since it launched and I like what they're trying to build. Being able to access crypto and more traditional markets from the same interface is genuinely useful, and the integration with Hyperliquid feels natural. The platform is clean, fast, and I didn't need much time to figure it out. It's still an early product, so I wouldn't assume everything is already perfect. Liquidity and adoption will matter a lot over the long run. That said, it's one of the more interesting projects I've tried recently, and I'll definitely keep using it to see how it evolves.

on trade.xyz Β· 1585Β· 3mo ago0βOne of the few crypto journalists I still followβThere are a lot of crypto accounts that mainly chase engagement. Camila has never felt like one of them. I don't read every article she publishes, but when I want to understand what's happening in Ethereum or DeFi, she's one of the people I check first. I like that the focus is usually on explaining things instead of trying to create hype. That doesn't mean I automatically agree with every opinion, but I generally come away feeling more informed than when I started. In a space where everyone seems to have an agenda, that kind of consistency is pretty valuable.

Most of the time I use it with stablecoins because I like having part of my portfolio working without having to constantly move funds around myself. It's not something I check every day, which is kind of the point. I wouldn't expect it to magically outperform every strategy, and I still keep an eye on what it's doing. But for someone who doesn't want to manage every position manually, I think it does a good job. It's still early, but from my experience the product feels well thought out and that's why I still use it.

on Glider Β· 1445Β· 3mo ago0βThe CEX I've had the best experience withβI've used quite a few centralized exchanges over the years, and Bitget is probably the one I've had the best overall experience with. The interface is easy to navigate, liquidity has always been good enough for what I trade, and I never ran into any major issues while using the platform. I also liked that they were often quick to list interesting new projects without making the exchange feel cluttered. I know there are complaints about customer support and account restrictions, and those concerns shouldn't be dismissed. Fortunately, I never experienced those problems myself, so I can only speak from my own experience. I don't keep long-term holdings on any centralized exchange, but if I need to trade through a CEX, Bitget is usually my first choice.

on Bitget Β· 1512Β· 3mo ago0βStill my main CEX, despite the criticismβBinance was the first exchange I really used, and I still keep an account there today. Is it perfect? Definitely not. There have been enough controversies over the years that I understand why some people no longer trust it. That's also why I never leave more funds on a CEX than necessary. But if I'm being practical, it still has the best liquidity, a huge selection of assets, and I rarely have issues using it. Most of the time it just works. I don't blindly trust Binance, but I also don't think it's fair to ignore everything they've built for the industry. For me it's a tool: useful, convenient, but not somewhere I'd rely on for long-term custody.

on Binance Β· 1677Β· 4mo ago0βToo much baggage to trust againβI remember following the Mango Markets story and, since then, I've never really been able to look at Avi the same way. Whether you agreed with his "game theory" arguments or not, the exploit alone damaged trust. Since then, the later criminal convictions have made it even harder to separate the person from the reputation. People deserve due process, and that's happened here. But trust in crypto is earned over time and can disappear very quickly. Personally, I don't see a reason to rely on someone with this kind of history when there are plenty of other voices in the space. For me, credibility matters as much as technical ability, and that's where Avi falls short.

Not something I use every day, but it's one of those products that makes you stop and think "okay, that's actually a clever idea". Still feels early. Still feels risky. But at least they're trying something different.

What I like is that he doesn't come across as someone trying to sell me something every day. Sometimes I agree with his takes, sometimes I don't, but I usually find them worth reading. He also seems more willing than most people to call out questionable behavior in the industry, even when it's unpopular. Obviously he's influential and not everyone will agree with his opinions. But compared to a lot of crypto personalities, he feels more authentic and less driven by engagement farming. I've unfollowed hundreds of crypto accounts over the years. Cobie isn't one of them.

on Cobie Β· 2545Β· 4mo ago0βBeen following him for a long timeβI've followed Jesse for quite a while and honestly one of the reasons I stayed active on Base is because of people like him. I don't always pay attention to every post, but whenever something important is happening on Base, his account usually ends up on my timeline. Over the years I've discovered quite a few apps and builders through him. Sure, not every project that gets attention ends up being a winner, but that's true for pretty much everyone in crypto. Nothing fancy to say. I've followed him for a long time, still follow him today, and that's generally a good sign.

on jesse.base.eth Β· 2087Β· 4mo ago0βMy onchain home since day oneβI've used Base pretty much every day since I discovered it and, at this point, it's where most of my onchain activity happens. What I like most is that it doesn't feel like I have to force myself to use it for quests or incentives. I use it organically: moving funds, swapping, bridging, and putting my stablecoins to work across different DeFi protocols. The low fees make it practical enough that I don't even think about transaction costs anymore. It's also one of the few ecosystems where I've consistently found new apps worth trying over time. Some worked out, some didn't, but I've never really felt the need to leave Base as my primary chain. Of course, it's not perfect. Being backed by Coinbase is both a strength and something some people criticize when talking about decentralization. But as an actual user, the experience has been smooth and reliable for me. There are plenty of chains I visit occasionally. Base is the one I keep coming back to every day.

on Base Β· 1874Β· 4mo ago0βInteresting project, but still waiting for proofβI've been following Arcium for a while and what stands out to me is that they seem more focused on building than marketing. The privacy and encrypted computing angle is genuinely interesting, especially at a time when most projects are chasing the same narratives. The team also appears to communicate consistently without constantly overhyping every update, which is refreshing. That said, a lot of the excitement around Arcium is still based on potential. The technology sounds promising, but I think the project still needs to prove that it can attract real adoption once everything is live. For now, it's one of the more interesting infrastructure projects I'm watching, but I'm keeping my expectations realistic until we see broader usage and delivery.

on Arcium Β· 1633Β· 4mo ago0βInteresting technology, but trust has become an issueβI first heard about UMA through Polymarket and honestly never paid much attention to the protocol itself until the recent controversies. From what I've seen, the optimistic oracle concept is actually pretty clever and clearly fills a real role in the ecosystem. The problem is that whenever UMA gets mentioned now, the conversation quickly shifts to governance, whale influence, and disputed market resolutions. Maybe some of the criticism is exaggerated, but when the same concerns keep coming up from different people, it's hard to ignore. Whether it's perception or reality, a lot of users seem to have lost confidence in the fairness of the system. I still think the technology has value, but today I trust the idea behind UMA more than the governance around it.
