That bimodal split means KAST is excellent for most users and catastrophic for a minority — usually around KYC blocks and account restrictions with no clear explanation. The product itself is genuinely well built — Solana architecture, zero stablecoin conversion fees, instant virtual card. The risk is in the edge cases, and the edge cases are severe when they hit.

“Haven't tried it yet but the word of mouth is loud”Haven't gotten around to setting up KAST personally but I keep hearing about it from people I trust. Multiple people in my circle replaced their bank cards with it while traveling — zero conversion fees on stablecoins, Apple Pay works instantly, Solana-based so top-ups are sub-cent fees. 1M+ users and $5B annualized volume says the market validated it already. On my list to try when I need a clean crypto spending solution.
