“Great guy who associated with the wrong people”I've known TG since I first entered the space, back when he used to write threads actively. We chatted during the peak of the NFT bull run, talking about music, the state of the market, and the future of the space in Metav3rse. While we haven't spoken since then One thing that hasn’t changed is that he has remained kind and authentic. He has never taken an undisclosed shill and contributed towards the public good by donating to ZachXBT for example I’ve watched his journey from hosting Twitter Spaces to becoming a major streamer on Twitch. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. His association with the LA Crew. There’s no denying the controversy surrounding them, from promoting gambling and insider trading to pump-and-dumps and even launching scam tokens (Libra) However, I genuinely believe TG didn’t participate in most of those actions—except for Libra. His behavior on stream suggests he stayed out of everything else, unlike some of his peers who have clearly engaged in all of the above. TG has a long history of doing good in the space, but Libra is inexcusable. Look, everyone has their own opinion on TG and his ties to the LA Crew. If you dislike him solely for his association with them, that’s completely fair. His past good deeds don’t erase the mistake, but at the same time, his willingness to reflect and possibly change shows growth. The real test will be how he moves forward, whether he continues to improve or falls into the same patterns as others in the LA Crew If he takes real accountability and distances himself from shady practices, he could redeem himself. If not, his reputation will likely follow the same trajectory as the people he’s associated with Whatever decision he makes will shape his career in this space and his reputation I have hope he’ll make the right oneon threadguy · 1924· 1y ago · neutral17
