“Strong Concept, Poorly Handled"”I wasn’t familiar with Tria before. It came up on my Ethos feed, so I did some proper research. The concept is strong: a self-custodial neobank with chain abstraction, multi-chain trading, and a Visa card usable in many countries. The idea of simplifying crypto for real-world spending is solid, and they do have a working app and card with some cashback reports. That said, after digging into their airdrop history, community feedback, and marketing approach, the project looks quite disappointing overall. The Season 1 airdrop left a lot of early users frustrated. Many people (including some who paid for the card) received little to nothing and felt the eligibility criteria were unfair. There are also repeated complaints about poor communication and rewards not arriving as promised. On the KOL side, they’ve worked with influencers who have promoted the project heavily. While some of these posts seem genuine, broader community sentiment flags concerns about collaborations with Solana memecoin-heavy circles and accounts known for aggressive hype. For a project positioning itself as a serious financial tool, this type of marketing creates trust issues for many observers. Bottom line: Tria has a working product, but the combination of a bad airdrop, questionable partnerships, and frustrated users makes it look risky. I wouldn’t invest or farm here. There are much better and cleaner alternatives in the space right now.on Tria · 559· 5mo ago · negative0
