“Honest review”MEXC has both fans and haters, and I’d put myself somewhere in the middle. Fans like it mainly for three reasons: the fees are relatively low with frequent 0-fee campaigns, there are many promotions with generous prize pools (I personally made about $300 in three months from normal trading), and it offers a wide range of tokens you can’t easily find on other major exchanges. On the other hand, the biggest criticism is random account freezes, sometimes leaving people’s funds locked for a long time. That’s a valid concern, and it’s why I constantly withdraw profits, worried my account might get frozen too. Overall, I think MEXC is great for trading niche tokens, but for more serious traders I’d recommend bigger and more reliable exchanges. My rating: 7.5/10.

Without any valid explanation, my account was suddenly frozen, and all my funds were held hostage. I was using the platform for normal trading, and one day, I was simply locked out of my money with no clear reason given. When I contacted their customer support, it was a complete waste of time. I received vague, copy pasted responses that offered no real help or timeline for resolution. At first, they told me to wait a month, now they are saying my funds could be locked for up to an entire year under the guise of a "risk control review". I have submitted every document they asked for, proof of funds, identification, and more but nothing happens. This seems to be a pattern. I have seen countless reports from other users who are facing the exact same issue, with thousands of dollars trapped in their accounts while MEXC ignores their requests. It feels like a scam designed to prevent users from withdrawing their money, especially after making a profit. Do not trust this platform with your funds.

“More Noise Than Value”After looking through the MEXC timeline I honestly struggle to find a clear identity beyond constant promotion The feed feels overloaded with listing announcements giveaways and trading campaigns while meaningful product updates educational content and user focused communication receive far less attention As a user I do not want to scroll through dozens of promotional posts just to find information that actually improves my experience on the platform For an exchange trust is built through transparency consistency and useful information not by creating a constant sense of urgency around the next opportunity Right now the account feels designed to maximize engagement rather than help users make better informed decisions and I think that is something worth improving

“Quantity Does Not Always Mean Quality”One thing that stands out to me is how difficult it can be to separate genuinely important updates from the constant flow of promotional content When nearly every post is about a new listing campaign or reward event the timeline starts to feel repetitive and it becomes easier to overlook announcements that actually matter I also think the account could do a much better job of explaining product features security practices and platform improvements instead of relying so heavily on marketing A crypto exchange should not only encourage trading it should also help users understand the platform and make informed decisions A more balanced communication strategy would make the account far more useful and trustworthy for its community

“My Experience with MEXC”I've been using MEXC for a few years now and overall, I've had a pretty good experience with it. One thing I really liked was the huge variety of tokens available. Whenever I was looking for a new coin or a lowcap project, chances were I could find it on MEXC before many other exchanges. The trading experience has always been smooth for me, and it's been one of my go to exchanges for exploring new opportunities. That said, things changed a bit after mandatory KYC was introduced. I completely understand why exchanges are moving in that direction, but personally, it made me use MEXC much less than before. Even so, if you're looking for an exchange with a wide selection of assets and early listings, I still think MEXC is worth checking out.
