Mad Lads is a 10,000-piece NFT collection on Solana created by the Backpack team, launched in April 2023 as the first xNFT collection with executable functionality within the Backpack wallet. The project is celebrated for its bold, anime-inspired art style and has become a cultural icon of Solana, known for pioneering bot-resistant minting, consistent airdrops to holders, and deep integration with Backpack's wallet and exchange. The community is widely regarded as one of the strongest and most engaged in Web3, characterized by genuine support, loyalty through market downturns, and a builder-focused ethos that extends beyond NFTs into real utility and partnerships across the ecosystem.

“Great community and highly appreciated NFTs”Probably one of the greatest NFT collections on Solana ever. Highly appreciated, great value for the money. Gives you access to a great community plus a lot of opportunities and airdrops. I would love to have one. I will some day, so my Mad Lad is over there waiting for me.Sique · 1221· 1y ago10
“More Than Just an NFT”Owning a Mad Lads NFT felt like unlocking a new world. The art pulled me in, but the real value came from the community—genuine friendships, events, and shared wins. With Backpack integration and ongoing innovation, being a holder feels less like a flex, more like belonging.bobbyboy | SleepingInvestor.eth | (🌸, 🌿) ADL · 1268· 1y ago10
“My dear madlads”For me, MadLads has been a really interesting experience in the Solana NFT world. At first, what caught my attention was the visual side: a 10,000 NFT collection with an animated, unique style, launched by Backpack a project with solid technical backing. What really surprised me was the community’s reaction. In just a few days, trading volume skyrocketed by more than 400%, making it one of the most dynamic collections on the market. And beyond that, Backpack’s acquisition of FTX’s European unit pushed the spotlight even further, showing real ambition beyond just visuals. But what connects with me most is how MadLads feels like a real community. It’s not just about owning a cool image, but about being part of a universe where people genuinely engage with what’s being built, not just collecting for the sake of it. There’s a sense of belonging something you can feel in the channels and events where culture matters as much as price. Of course, I’m also aware that there’s a lot of hype that can inflate expectations. The big question is whether that energy will last over time or if the project will need to evolve with a more solid proposal beyond the art and initial buzz. In short: MadLads feels like one of those collections that goes beyond aesthetics, with community, creativity, and strong backing. Hopefully, it evolves not just as an attractive NFT but as something sustainable and meaningful in the long run.HuGoDo · 1250· 1y ago10
