From 233 activities · Apr 2026Mad Lads is a 10,000-piece NFT collection on Solana created by the Backpack team, launched in April 2023 as the first xNFT collection with executable functionality within the Backpack wallet. The project is celebrated for its bold, anime-inspired art style and has become a cultural icon of Solana, known for pioneering bot-resistant minting, consistent airdrops to holders, and deep integration with Backpack's wallet and exchange. The community is widely regarded as one of the strongest and most engaged in Web3, characterized by genuine support, loyalty through market downturns, and a builder-focused ethos that extends beyond NFTs into real utility and partnerships across the ecosystem.

Received · 332Given · 0“The best NFT collection”Backed by striking artwork, robust tech infrastructure, and an active, passionate holder base, it embodies the spirit of decentralized creativity and cultural innovation. More than just a collection, it’s a movement that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the Solana ecosystem. A true standout.

RichMan.Renaiss 🦅 (❖,❖) ∞ · 1227· 1y ago13“Chaos with Purpose on Solana”Mad Lads captures the side of crypto that’s raw, loud, and alive. It’s not just an NFT project — it’s a movement built on energy, creativity, and a shared love for doing things differently. The Backpack team turned madness into meaning. Every detail — from the art to the community — reflects that spirit of fearless experimentation. Mad Lads isn’t trying to fit into Web3; it’s redefining what it means to be part of it. In a space that often takes itself too seriously, Mad Lads brings back what made crypto exciting in the first place: bold ideas, real community, and a touch of beautiful chaos.

mustafa keskin · 1236· 1y ago9“One of the OG collections on Solana”One of the OG collections on Solana, with an incredible community and high-quality incentives. They managed to build an entire ecosystem around their NFT and community, something not everyone can pull off. The true believers were rewarded, and that’s exactly what we love about Web3.

“The Most Useful NFT on Solana”Mad Lads - Twitter NFT Collection The Mad Lads collection is not just an NFT but an xNFT (executable NFTs), integrated with Backpack technologies and capable of interacting with other Web3 applications. Many dApps have offered perks for holding this NFT, including airdrops, as seen with Pengu, DOGs, JUP, and others. The Backpack perp DEX provides trading fee discounts or even Level MM 1, enabling commission-free spot trading for makers. On Twitter, I know many Mad Lads holders, and they’re awesome people—project founders, whales, and more. They attend Mad Lads events, like the one in Seoul. Mad Lads brings people together.
