“The purest test of Web2-->Web3 gaming we have. And it's fun.”I said this on one of my X posts, and I'll say it on Ethos: How many times when explaining blockchain gaming do you say something along the lines of "Imagine if <insert popular MMORPG> can formally be bought and sold for money? That's what crypto does for gaming." We have yet to have a breakout game after Axie, and I think Maplestory N (and the Universe) is our best shot to date. It's as fun as the original maplestory, just crypto-connected. They have one of the best and most intuitive crypto connections that I've seen (wallet inventory), and reasonable and random rewards. I don't know if it's completely sustainable yet, but they're clearly experts in both game design (the original Maplestory pioneered free-to-play) and in game economics. I'm personally a level 171 Night Lord in the game, and let me tell you---there's an insane amount of daily content. Clearing bosses every day, farming for levels (and NESO), scouting the marketplace, doing PQs, etc. Plus the social aspect with guilds and all that. If you liked Maplestory, this is the adult version. Incredibly excited for the future of Maplestory. It's the purest test we have of a Web2 game that simply adopted a Web3 format. A lot hinges on its success.
