It has gained so much traction that it has been regularly making headlines lately, particularly on political and geopolitical topics. My opinion is fairly neutral, precisely because of the recurring controversies: contested market resolution decisions (a recent example being the “invasion” of Venezuela, which caused a major backlash), suspicions of information asymmetry on certain bets, and regulatory pressure that also translates into geographical restrictions. The product is powerful and clearly has the potential to be positive in crypto, but in terms of long-term confidence, I remain cautious as long as market outcome governance and compliance remain such sensitive issues.

I like how it ties its identity directly to the L2 narrative as well as the other dapps of the MEGAETH eco such as Badbunnz or Aveforge and helps make the ecosystem feel alive beyond just the MEGA token itself. That said, it’s still an early meme play in a very competitive environment, so it has everything left to prove in terms of staying power, liquidity and cultural footprint over the long run.

Through public analyses, documented threads, and meticulous tracking, he has exposed numerous cases of fraud, hacks, and abusive behavior, often where no one else took the time or risk to do so. His work has become a central source for understanding flows, identifying malicious actors, and establishing facts in an often opaque environment. In an ecosystem where trust is fragile, ZachXBT plays a key and concrete role. He brings transparency, rigor, and a form of accountability that is still sorely lacking in crypto. We need more people like him in the industry.

The team is backed by a16z and presents the project as a chain for communication, which explains the momentum and active community around the app. However, the token launch was tense: the points campaign generated a lot of activity, but the final allocation mainly served other means. Of the announced 10%, early users reportedly received around 3%, with a significant portion going to partners such as Binance Alpha. Several users feel that the points ranking was not used as expected. The roadmap continues to move forward, but lasting clarification on distribution and governance would help rebuild trust.

The idea is simple enough: a dedicated Layer 1 where anyone can register content, prove provenance, then let AI agents train or license that data without middlemen. Yet there are still open questions. The mainnet launch date is vague, fee economics are not public, and a genuine IP marketplace will need heavy legal work as much as smart-contract code. Even so, if they can keep shipping at the current pace, Camp could end up the default registry for creators who want AI to use their work without losing control.

on Camp Network · 320· 1y ago10“A Wasted potential”I had high hopes for Eclipse, a project that aims to pair Solana level throughput with Ethereum liquidity. The launch of its $ES token, however, shook confidence. No tokenomics sheet was published before release, leaving early users blind on supply and unlocks.Within hours of the claim window opening, ES plummeted , something foreseeable if you look at the injustifiable behaviour Alucard and all his bootlickers, who quickly jumped ship after the airdrop ... In addition the allocation to ASC NFT holders landed harder. Each ASC, marketed as an early supporter badge by the team, received just 330 ES, a figure many felt did not justify the cost of minting or the risk they took. Community anger grew loud but the team at first choose to silent any voice rising against them ... The launch of the $GEM token seems to be a measure that comes far too late and the token will surely collapse alongside $ES and $Bitz. A project with great potential, but one that will have sinned through excessive hubris, like so many others.

on Eclipse · 384· 1y ago · negative10“A project that had potential”Decentraland promised a lot with the switch to client 2.0 and its 2024 manifesto, but actual usage remains disappointing. Major events have lost momentum: Metaverse Fashion Week went from around 108,000 unique visitors in 2022 to 26,000 in 2023, with peaks of only around 1,000. The real estate market followed the “metaverse land” market in a sharp decline, with floors falling by around 70 percent from their peaks. On the governance side, the DAO forum highlighted subsidy abuses, salaries deemed too high, and unrepresentative VP participation. In terms of accessibility, the community reports high hardware requirements since 2.0 and degraded Linux support, which limits adoption.

on Decentraland · 1618· 1y ago · neutral9“A beneficial or harmful giant ?”Ripple is primarily a payment infrastructure company. It develops Ripple Payments for institutions, relies on the XRP Ledger, and is making a clear shift toward stablecoins with RLUSD and the acquisition of Rail to strengthen its stable payment offering. On the technical side, XRPL has integrated a native AMM and documents a public validator network, which expands use cases beyond transfers. The ambition is clear: to become a global rail for payments and tokenization, while courting banks, fintechs, and public projects, from CBDC pilots to announcements at Swell. Weaknesses to keep in mind: a heavy regulatory liability, the recent outcome of which leaves penalties and increased oversight, as well as recurring criticism of the network's governance and perceived centralization. Finally, the SEC's decision to drop charges against the company allows it to shed a heavy burden that it was carrying since 2020 . Ripple remains a company to watch, as its decisions and size make it a major influencer on the crypto ecosystem in general.

on Ripple · 1675· 1y ago · neutral9“An ambitious project that still has everything to prove”Frax is a project that aims to provide a “serious digital currency” and the infrastructure that goes with it. Their frxUSD dollar is fully collateralized and can be redeemed for fiat currency. It is backed by tokenized Treasury bond reserves via BlackRock's BUIDL, which provides a yield and a more transparent basis for institutional partners. Alongside this, Frax is developing Fraxtal, its own Ethereum-compatible chain, where the FRAX token serves as gas and a security asset since the North Star update. The ambition is clear: a “Stablecoin OS” that brings together stablecoins, networks, and management tools. Points to watch out for, however, are that the use of real-world assets creates dependencies on custodians and the regulatory framework. The model is evolving rapidly, which requires close monitoring of governance and updates. In short, this is a coherent and ambitious project with solid strengths, but one that remains exposed to the constraints of tokenized finance.

It is the marketplace that the majority of users have used at one time or another to buy, sell, and discover collections (with a huge number of blockchains available). I should also point out how easy it is for creators to use OpenSea Studio, even though it still lacks quite a few features. However, they are clearly ahead of their rivals in this regard. The project has also tried to regain momentum with OS2 and a points system (XP) linked to a future airdrop of the SEA token. What bothers me is the length of their point campaigns with their treasure hunts; it gives the impression of “endless points,” and therefore of milking the community, with an obvious perverse effect (encouraging farming, behavior similar to wash trading, focus on activity rather than creators and collectors). There is also the “insider trading” case involving a former employee and other cases concerning an email incident via their service provider Customer.io, which has slightly impacted their reputation, but for now there are no serious competitors in sight.
