From my person experience, I was onboard into crypto since 2019 and pancake swap was one of the dex that I was introduced to. Majority of my onchain transactions were carried out on the Dex and it really created an impression of trust in me. As a newbie I didn't have challenges navigating it as it was built to be easy and uptill date I usually recommend it to new Users I'm onboarding. In summary I love the dex.

Later, it expanded to other chains - Ethereum, Aptos, zkSync, Arbitrum, Linea, Solana, opBNB, Monad & now Robinhood Chain. For me, PancakeSwap carried the 2021 BSC memecoin era. One of the most pleasant DeFi DEX experiences ever. To this day, it has maintained a record of zero hacks/exploits since 2020, continued to build & demonstrated the reliability of its product. Alongside Uniswap, PancakeSwap is one of the golden pillars of DeFi, no doubt.
