“A DEX full of crazy bugs!”It’s been about a year since I last used PancakeSwap, and honestly, every time I wanted to make a swap there, I felt like banging my head against the wall!!! This DEX was full of bugs, and right from the start, when connecting my wallet, I had to connect and disconnect around 30 times just for it to show my balance! I’m not sure if it’s still the same now, because, as I said, I haven’t used it for about a year thankfully and those were the last bitter memories I had of it. That said, it’s still a project with growth potential, and the \$CAKE token could see good growth in this bull market since CZ is backing them and offering support. But honestly, the only thing I want and really hope for, is that they update this DEX so it’s not so full of bugs and slow… though I doubt I’ll ever see that wish come true!!

“My first DEX was a pancake”Just as I mentioned in my BNB review, mentioning that it was my first foray into the Web 3 world in 2021, Pancake was the first DEX I ever used. I wanted to exchange my PVU at the time for BUSD, and I did it directly here. It's impressive that four years later, it's still a relevant and up-to-date DEX. I still swap casually here, and recently, I took advantage of one of its features by staking $TEVA to earn ETH.

Swaps are smooth, UI is clean, and it runs laps around most of the “next-gen” DEXs that showed up later. From yield farming to lottery stuff to NFTs - it leaned into the chaos and built a full-on ecosystem when others just stopped at swaps. Say what you want about BNB Chain, but Pancake made it usable. It’s not trendy, but it’s battle-tested - and that counts for a lot in a space that forgets fast.
