“Polkadot is brilliant tech, but no one’s using it”Polkadot is one of the most advanced blockchains out there. It brought real innovation with its parachains, shared security, and the Substrate framework. From a technical point of view, it’s rock solid and extremely flexible. But here’s the issue: it never really took off with users. The main reason is simple. While the tech is powerful, the experience for regular users has always been confusing or just not there. Wallets are clunky, interfaces are scattered, and most people still don’t understand what a crowdloan or a parachain even is. It feels like Polkadot was built for developers first, everyone else second. Other chains like Solana or Avalanche focused early on making it easy to jump in. Polkadot didn’t. Even today, many dApps and projects within the ecosystem struggle to get visibility or attract users outside of their niche. That doesn’t mean it failed. The core still works. Governance is well-designed, and teams like Moonbeam and Astar are doing cool stuff. But if Polkadot wants to be more than just a dev playground, it needs to fix the basics. Make it usable. Make it visible. Right now, it's a powerful engine with no dashboard. And most people won’t drive a car they can’t start.

“weird blockchain”This project is simply amazing. My impressions may be distorted by time, but it's a very strange blockchain. Plus, I remember they had some kind of scandal where they allocated a huge budget for a small animation of their token icon on the CoinMarketCap page. Overall, I'm not a fan.
