Polymarket has been around for a few years now, on-chain and transparent. It has predicted many events in advance; the most recent being the New York mayoral race. Many people might say it’s not accurate or claim the data is manipulated (see recently Bill Ackman), but the funny thing is that data is considered manipulated only when it doesn’t go their way; otherwise, no problem. From a marketing perspective, they’ve been nothing short of genius. Almost a year ago, after deciding not to fire @HugoMartingale, Polymarket fully embraced CT culture. They constantly push the boundaries with innovative marketing strategies. They’re one of the few Web3 apps that have broken the Web3 echo chamber, with widespread recognition. The most recent case was Elon Musk mentioning them on the Joe Rogan podcast. Clearly, big shoutout to their chad marketing team. All this marketing helped Polymarket recently raise TWO F*CKING BILLION DOLLARS through THE F*CKING NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE. What more could you want?
