Да, формально люди делают ставки на вероятность событий, а не крутят слоты. Но по факту многие приходят туда за теми же эмоциями: угадать исход, быстро заработать и почувствовать себя умнее рынка. Из-за этого платформа привлекает много спекулятивного поведения, особенно во время крупных политических событий, выборов или громких новостей. Ещё один момент — многие начинают воспринимать коэффициенты Polymarket как объективную правду, хотя это всего лишь отражение настроений участников в конкретный момент времени. Рынок может ошибаться, манипулироваться крупными игроками или просто реагировать эмоционально. Не считаю Polymarket плохим продуктом. Наоборот, с технической точки зрения он сделан очень качественно. Но лично для меня это всё же ближе к геймблингу, чем к инструменту для принятия взвешенных решений. И чем больше вокруг платформы разговоров про лёгкие деньги, тем сильнее это ощущение.
