Proof of Play is an a16z-backed onchain gaming studio building fully composable infrastructure and games, with Pirate Nation as their flagship title. They're recognized for stable, fast, gasless gameplay with true asset ownership and immutable on-chain mechanics, though some community members have expressed frustration over project transitions and shifts in focus.

“I choose trust Proof of play”Proof of Play 在Arbitrum的Orbit Stack上开发，利用Layer 3（L3）区块链（如 Proof of Play Apex 和 Proof of Play Boss）实现专注于游戏的解决方案，采用AnyTrust数据可用性。这些L3可以优化实时去中心化游戏体验。

“Great company”I have first hand seen Proof of Play in many of the web3 games i play like On Chain Heroes on Abstract. Much needed to ensure fairness in the wild wild west of Crypto. Great product from the team.

“a16z投资的一条公链”proof of play是a16z机构投资了3000多万美金的一条公链，他目前主要的链游是priate，是一款很不错的卡牌链游，海盗NFT最高价格曾经去到了1.5ETH，十分之不错的游戏。POP公链在未来会上线，是一个低gas的公链。

“Great experience overall”I've been exploring Proof of Play through their game Pirate Nation, and it's one of the few onchain experiences that actually feels fun and polished. The game runs smoothly, and the mechanics show real potential for long-term engagement. What really stands out is how seamlessly blockchain elements are integrated - it doesn't feel forced. Excited to see how this team continues building in the space

“Good team”I got to discover them while I was playing a game they built 'Pirate Nation' and I must say the work they put in was absolutely amazing. Most of the backlash they have had in recent times is from people who were in the ecosystem for the airdrops, but generally, the team was fantastic
