The recent pivot from promising a token airdrop to converting points into tokenized equity feels like a classic goalpost move that damages trust. User feedback on KYC friction and support remains mixed, the overall execution still feels early and unproven.

on KAST · 1471· 3mo ago · neutral0“not impressed”I don't trade on BingX because I don't see any compelling reasons to do so. I've heard some common complaints about BingX as sudden account restrictions, withdrawal delays or blocks (especially after profitable trades), and slow or unhelpful customer support.

Technically, it remains one of the strongest platforms out there with deep liquidity, smooth execution and a wide range of features that make it reliable for both spot and derivatives trading. That said, there are some clear risks that can’t be ignored. The 2023 case involving CZ and the massive fine over manipulation and AML violations left a lasting mark. There have also been other incidents, such as the one on 10/10, that raised concerns about operational reliability.

In 2024 he was convicted on charges of commodities fraud, market manipulation, and wire fraud. While he continues posting trading ideas, the conviction and history of exploiting a DeFi platform remain the dominant part of his reputation.

It has enough basic data and useful features: price tracking, charts, rankings, news, and portfolio tools that millions rely on for quick market overviews. It’s generally clean, comprehensive, and beginner-friendly. However, it’s owned by Binance since 2020, which raises ongoing questions about potential bias in rankings and data presentation. Users frequently complain about inaccurate or manipulated-looking data, heavy ads, and occasional glitches in the portfolio tracker. While it remains the default reference for many, alternatives like CoinGecko are often preferred by those who want more perceived independence.

on CoinMarketCap · 1767· 4mo ago · neutral0“A simple trading app”FOMO is a trading app that tries to make crypto (especially meme coins) more accessible by removing wallet friction, bridging, and gas fees. The app has raised decent funding and gained some traction with users who want a simpler mobile experience. However, user feedback is mixed. Many complain about relatively high fees ($1 per trade), slow execution that causes slippage, and difficulties withdrawing funds. Overall, it’s convenient but still has noticeable execution issues.

But it also means a lot of low-quality or shady projects get in. On futures - Several people I know have run into serious issues. When price runs past their take-profit on low-cap coins, the order often doesn’t fill. Then it looks like the price gets manipulated through the order book to drag the “fair price” down until liquidation hits. - The most concerning part is what happens when someone actually wins big. Instead of paying out cleanly, MEXC tends to suddenly flag the account with all kinds of vague “suspicious activity” reasons and freeze the funds. They’ll come up with endless excuses to hold the money, making it extremely difficult and stressful to withdraw profits.

on MEXC · 957· 4mo ago · negative0“messy but (maybe) honest”They raised decent money to build a consumer ZK L2 focused on gaming and everyday experiences, actually shipped it, then recently decided to sunset the whole chain. Now they’re repositioning as an app studio building on Base instead, with Pay with Pyre as their next thing. The self-awareness to kill their own infrastructure bet is refreshing in crypto. At the same time it feels a bit messy for anyone who bought into the original chain narrative — the token is now attached to a project that’s basically starting over on the product side, and it’s still unclear whether the new direction will actually bring real users.

He’s consistent about wanting more economic freedom and has been pushing lately to open up private investing to regular people instead of just the rich. That part comes across as genuine. What stands out positively is how he’s steered the company through multiple brutal cycles without folding.

on Brian Armstrong · 2286· 4mo ago0“A merit-based ICO platform”Legion is a detailed merit-based platform for compliant ICOs and pre-token sales with reputation scoring and multiple layers for access and compliance. Backed by VanEck, Kraken and Coinbase Ventures. The system is feature-rich and gets intuitive with use, though it can overwhelm at first. Generally solid execution, but projects like Corn have sparked community questions around unlock timelines, plus occasional technical sale issues and post-launch delays on others.

on LEGION · 1548· 4mo ago · neutral0“A good ICO platform”Echo is a clean onchain platform for private crypto raises and token sales via groups and Sonar. Up to now, it's reliable and trustworthy for an ICO-style tool, with structured execution and no major red flags.

But after all, it’s still a money-handling bot, there’ve been cases where it got tricked. Some community drama around fees and launches too. It seems good, but personally, I don't see the need for it. It's better for me to manage my money myself.
