While Hyperliquid already has its own strong perpetual futures exchange, Project X focuses on spot trading, token swaps, and liquidity providing, basically acting as the “spot DEX” layer for the ecosystem. It fills a real gap by making spot trading and LP easier on HyperEVM, has solid audits, good TVL, and they has delivered a $1M airdrop recently. It’s a nice project that makes sense for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, but it’s still risky due to the points-heavy, DYOR.

In 2015, he jacked up the price of the life-saving drug Daraprim by over 5,000% (from $13.50 to $750 per pill), making it unaffordable for many patients with HIV and cancer just so he could make huge profits. He later got convicted for securities fraud, lied to investors, and spent about five years in prison. Now he’s out and working in fintech with Godel Terminal. No doubt he’s sharp and knows his stuff, but he still comes across as extremely arrogant, shows zero real remorse, and loves stirring drama online.

Several coins he pushed hard (like $SATO, $PUNK) dumped badly afterward, leading many to believe he pumps and dumps on followers. - Overall: Typical memecoin influencer, has some alpha at times, but very high risk and heavy drama. Good for reference only. Do not blindly copy or ape his plays. Always DYOR.

He’s raised money from investors and has traction on the App Store. That said, he’s very loud and drama-heavy on Twitter, lots of callouts, copycat fights, and aggressive energy. The Nigeria situation hurt his rep a bit. But after reading his explanation, I found it somewhat acceptable. I heard he was accused of shady things related to $KLED, but I wasn't directly involved with that token, so I won't comment further.

Transactions are fast and gas fees are impressively low, making it a cost‑effective L2. The games built on Abstract run smoothly with minimal latency, which gave me a good first impression. The downside is the ecosystem is still relatively small compared to Base, so there's fewer dApps and projects to choose from. Beside that, its low fees and stable performance position it as a respectable competitor in the L2 space.
