Smokey is the Chief Smokey Officer and co-founder of Berachain, known for consistent community engagement, transparent communication about ecosystem growth, and active presence during both the project's early success and subsequent challenges. Early testers received substantial rewards and airdrops, though the chain has struggled with token price and TVL decline post-launch. While widely praised for personality, accessibility, and fostering builder culture on Berachain, some view the project as an unsuccessful extraction despite the $100M raise at $1.5B valuation.

“Smokey the Builder”I really respect Smokey, he’s one of the few founders who actually keeps a community strong before and after TGE. He leads with vision and consistency, and people naturally rally behind him. Honestly, he’s the kind of builder that just feels different.

“baggot.”guy only realized six months later that he had no connection to his token holders, it seems that all the funds had blocked him, as he did me, and he decided to put together a new chat room that I wasn't added to

“Smonkey”Smokey has always been genuine and gracious in our interactions. Being a builder is hard, often sucks, but props to the real ones like him in this space. Berachain

“Bera Leader”Important figure in the Berachain ecosystem, always followed to know how the chain is going and which are the interesting dapps. Even now that the price of bera has dropped he still gives confidence to his followers. So I continue to follow him and trust him.

“Builder of Berachain”When I first came across Smokey The Bera’s twitter, I felt the serious approach right away. He’s the co-founder of Berachain, a blockchain with the unique Proof of Liquidity consensus. It’s clear he’s not chasing hype but working on real things, making the network stronger and more resilient to market volatility. His feed isn’t just random retweets - he shows step by step how Berachain is built, why liquidity matters, and what makes the platform different. You can tell he’s an engineer at heart, with background in startups, VC and infra. Why he stands out: Talks with knowledge, not just abstract words. Twitter feels alive: mixes technical ideas with a personal tone, no arrogance. It’s clear he cares about building and explaining, not just being loud. If you want to truly understand how Berachain grows and how complex DeFi ecosystems are built, his account is def worth reading.

“Holding the chain strong”Smokey The Bera has long been associated with Berachain. He’s not just a “co-founder,” but someone who managed to keep attention on the project even when the market was sinking. What really stands out is his transparency and consistency. He’s always in touch with the community, not afraid to answer tough questions, and pushes the project forward without unnecessary noise. His “value first, hype later” approach is clear in everything

“Fantasy bear”I first found out about this bear while working on the Berachain project, which turned out quite well and rewarded the testnet participants. Later, I came across the same bear in Fantasy — he’s still a hero there and pulls in solid views. He often posts about all things Berachain-related, and I try to follow him closely because he drops a lot of alpha.
