Smokey is the Chief Smokey Officer and co-founder of Berachain, known for consistent community engagement, transparent communication about ecosystem growth, and active presence during both the project's early success and subsequent challenges. Early testers received substantial rewards and airdrops, though the chain has struggled with token price and TVL decline post-launch. While widely praised for personality, accessibility, and fostering builder culture on Berachain, some view the project as an unsuccessful extraction despite the $100M raise at $1.5B valuation.

“Chad Founder”Smokey is a great founder, from NFT collection to an L1, crazy transition. BHimaNii · 1300· 1y ago15
“I want to smoke with him”At one time, I was a big fan of them and had to follow them on Twitter, and this bear was one of the most impressive promoters of the ecosystem. I don't smoke weed, but looking at the atmosphere that this genius bear creates around himself on Twitter, I find myself thinking about it more and more often. Definitely positive.Artem · 1371· 1y ago15
“Strong Bera”Smokey is probably the most notorious face of Berachain. He built a working blockchain, one of the strongest cults in the space, the dude obviously has both the vision and the balls to execute, but the results must be better. Bera token is struggling as well as the ecosystem projects, something in this flywheel is not optimized and Smokey needs to figure it out.anfield_dog · 1308· 1y ago15

“How SmokeyTheBera Became the North Star for NFT Alpha in a Sea of Noise”SmokeyTheBera is a standout in the crypto world, with razor-sharp insight into DeFi, NFT ecosystems, and new blockchain projects. I first met him during the early days of the Blur NFT marketplace frenzy, and we quickly connected over our passion for uncovering legit innovation. What sets him apart is his relentless drive to demystify complicated market trends and share actionable alpha—always delivered with clarity and no hype. Through his effort, dozens have avoided costly mistakes and found new opportunities they’d have missed otherwise. I’ve seen firsthand how much the community trusts Smokey’s opinion—he’s earned it by being both bold and consistently accurate.Surfing experience · 1330· 1y ago18
