Somnia is a high-performance Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain delivering 1M TPS, sub-second finality, and sub-cent fees, purpose-built for gaming, metaverses, and real-time applications. The project earned strong community trust through a fair airdrop distribution to testnet participants and consistent post-launch engagement, with many users praising the fast, low-cost experience and polished games like Sparkball and Chunk. While some note early technical issues, occasional app instability, and concerns about long-term utility amid competing L1s, the team's transparency, active development, and community-first approach have cultivated lasting loyalty—many participants remained engaged after token launch rather than departing, a rarity in the space.

“Somnia feels like the true home for Web3 gaming and social apps”Somnia is my absolute favorite blockchain, positioning itself as "the blockchain for the next generation of the internet", and I truly believe in that. Somnia is capable of processing over 1 million transactions per second, which makes it perfect for large-scale, data-intensive apps. Testnet was super engaging: quests, games, trading, discord interactions. I especially enjoyed the quests designed to test the network's stress resistance. And I'm really happy that I got the SOMI airdrop, and now I'm already taking part in the mainnet quests. Yes, blockchain still has problems sometimes… But each one helps it grow and get better. Stay with Somnia!Fly Pinkish · 1254· 1y ago9

“Ultra Fast Layer1”The Somnia crypto project is a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain developed to power large-scale real-time applications, especially in gaming, social platforms, and the metaverse. It is known for its impressive performance capabilities and a unique approach to blockchain scalability, making it stand out in the crowded Layer 1 space.Somnia is fully EVM-compatible, meaning it runs Ethereum smart contracts and existing tools seamlessly. The network utilizes innovations like MultiStream consensus (parallel transaction processing), a custom database (IceDB) for predictable performance, advanced data compression, and native EVM compiler technology for ultra-fast execution. During testnet, Somnia processed over 10 billion transactions and achieved a record of 1.9 billion transactions in a single day, claiming over 1 million transactions per second with sub-second finality and ultra-low costs.kaathu(Ø,G) .ink · 1311· 1y ago9
“Project is very solid, with maybe few just surprises.”And one of them was the fact that after TGE when people know their allocations, they still have to make 8 weeks of additional tasks to get that allocation unlocked. There are some good justifications for that, but still it might be surprise for many. Apart of this, the team is solid, founder is solid, they had a small hickup with tge checker and they solved that very professionally. Wishing them only the best of luck.888mooncat.eth · 1289· 1y ago9
“Shameless project backed by Paul’s own ventures”Another scam project that vested 80% of their loyal testers allocation. They have many problems and controversies with their distribution method. Many NFT holders and early supporters felt betrayed, and a lot of people who had been testing since day one got wrecked just because they didn’t complete the quest campaign. The quest campaign itself had many issues for latecomers. So yeah, it was a scam by design.fzn0x · 1325· 1y ago · negative9
“The Next Gen Metaverse”Somnia is a next-generation metaverse platform that sets itself apart with speed, scale, and true interoperability. Capable of handling over a million transactions per second with sub-second finality and ultra-low fees, it offers a seamless and reliable experience for both users and creators. Unlike closed ecosystems, Somnia enables the free movement of avatars, NFTs, and digital items across different virtual worlds, unlocking a genuinely open metaverse. Its developer-friendly tools, such as Dream Builder and Playground, make building accessible while empowering creators to innovate quickly. Backed by a growing and engaged community, Somnia is already proving its potential with record-breaking performance and strong momentum. In short, Somnia isn’t just an idea, it’s the metaverse that actually works.IFENIO 👁️ · 1254· 1y ago9
“justt”hey’re actually building something big. Somnia is a Layer 1 blockchain that promises over 1 MILLION transactions per second with almost instant finality. And it’s not just talk — they’ve already tested over 10 billion transactions on their testnet. Their feed isn’t just hype — they actually post real milestones, like launching mainnet, Google Cloud integration, and throwing \$10M in grants to help devs build stuff.FireCat · 1281· 1y ago9
“Potential for Scalable Solutions”Somnia Network is a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed to support scalable applications in gaming, metaverses, and social platforms. With claims of processing over 1 million transactions per second and sub-second finality, it draws attention from developers looking to build fast, scalable solutions. The project is actively growing its ecosystem and has attracted notable partners, including Google Cloud as a network validator. These developments suggest a serious commitment to expanding Web3 capabilities and highlight Somnia Network’s potential in the broader blockchain and metaverse landscape.A.E. · 1141· 1y ago9
“The best network”I was here for so long that I kept my allocation, maybe it was good money, but it was really interesting, the test network, and the different tasks I did every day, and so on for a long time, I will say that this is the best test network I have ever tested, fast as F1hammi · 1303· 1y ago9
“Somniat defectum”Cuando un proyecto que tiene mainnet disponible, basa toda su actividad de pre TGE en actividades sociales, quiere decir que lo único que busca es atención pero no tiene suficiente buena tecnología, Somnia quedará en el olvido como tantos otros proyectos.Tributum Cripto · 1298· 1y ago · negative9
“Fastest gamefi L1”I’ve tried a lot of GameFi projects, but Somnia stands out as the fastest and most seamless Layer 1 I’ve experienced. It’s not just about speed, it’s about how smooth everything runs, which makes it perfect for gaming. Definitely looking forward to what’s nextAzazelGanz · 1325· 1y ago9
