Somnia is a high-performance Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain delivering 1M TPS, sub-second finality, and sub-cent fees, purpose-built for gaming, metaverses, and real-time applications. The project earned strong community trust through a fair airdrop distribution to testnet participants and consistent post-launch engagement, with many users praising the fast, low-cost experience and polished games like Sparkball and Chunk. While some note early technical issues, occasional app instability, and concerns about long-term utility amid competing L1s, the team's transparency, active development, and community-first approach have cultivated lasting loyalty—many participants remained engaged after token launch rather than departing, a rarity in the space.

“Network for the future of Open Metaverse and Gaming”I am really excited about Somnia, because word is getting more digital, not less, and Somnia Network has epic tech for Open Metaverse and Gaming. It is extremely fast and scalable... Also the team behind is amazing.

“Title: From Hope to Uncertainty A Personal Reflection”I’m genuinely struggling to understand what they’re trying to achieve by constantly releasing new NFTs. At the beginning, there was real excitement around the Somnia OG NFTs people had high hopes and felt their early contributions would be valued. But instead of building on that foundation, the team kept launching new collections, which drastically diluted the value of the OG NFTs. Naturally, this left many feeling disappointed and discouraged, and it’s clear that fewer people are now engaging with the testnet. Still, I believe the testnet might end up being rewarding in the end. Maybe this quiet period is just the calm before something meaningful. I just hope I’m not wrong.

“Somnia network is building the virtual society where everything actually connects”somnia is doing more than just metaverse hype they building a fast scalable L1 made for creators gamers and devs to actually build connected digital worlds with omni-chain support real-time performance and tools like world + item builders they making it easy to launch assets avatars and dapps that move across any virtual space. their SOM0 protocol is pretty wild too lets objects identity and royalties work across chains and metaverses no silos no limits feels like somnia isn’t just talking about the future they actually building it.

“The fastest project ever been here”yes, Somnia designed specifically to support large-scale real-time applications such as gaming, decentralized social networks, metaverse environments, and interactive experiences for millions of concurrent users. The project aims to solve the slow performance and high costs of traditional blockchains, delivering Web2-level speed and efficiency while still preserving the decentralization and openness of Web3. and Somnia is a successful project til now , everyone chose it , and i am too .

“Somnia Network: Unleashing Lightning-Fast Layer 1 Innovation”As a participant in the Somnia Network testnet, I’m genuinely impressed by the experience! The Shannon Testnet lives up to its promise of blazing-fast transactions, hitting over 1 million TPS with sub-second finality, which makes testing apps and transactions incredibly smooth. The low fees are a game-changer, allowing me to experiment freely without worrying about costs. The ecosystem feels vibrant, with a growing number of dApps and strong community support through Discord and quests. It’s exciting to be part of a platform pushing the boundaries of blockchain scalability, especially for gaming and DeFi. Somnia’s infrastructure, backed by cutting-edge tech like MultiStream Consensus and IceDB, makes it a dream for developers and users alike. Highly recommend diving in.

“Potential”There's a potential that Somnia could be successful, they have a really strong community and has been loyal to them since the early testnet phase. But only time will tell, after their mainnet launch that's where the real test begin

“高性能 Layer 1”Somnia Network 是一个高性能 Layer 1 ，专注于通过多链互操作协议统一元宇宙、游戏、NFT 和社交平台，构建无缝虚拟社会。

“Somnia Network: A True Metaverse Powerhouse”Man, I can’t stop raving about Somnia Network it’s seriously next level! This Layer 1 blockchain is an absolute beast, handling over 400,000 transactions per second with lightning fast finality, all while keeping fees so low they’re basically nonexistent. As someone who’s been geeking out over crypto and gaming, Somnia feels like the real deal for building epic virtual worlds and DeFi projects. The fact that it’s EVM compatible means devs can jump in without missing a beat, and that MultiStream Consensus paired with their custom IceDB? Pure genius for scalability. I’m stoked to see big names like Improbable and Yuga Labs backing it Somnia’s ecosystem is already buzzing with projects like QuickSwap that make everything feel so connected. Honestly, whether you’re into gaming, coding, or just investing in the future, Somnia’s got me hooked. It’s like they’re building the backbone for the metaverse we’ve all been dreaming of!

“High claim let's see how it's goes”Like many L1s and L2s popping up every other day, each claiming to be the next big thing 1M TPS, instant finality, blah blah blahh.... (on paper, of course). Let’s see how it ends up: 1M TPS or just 100 active users after TGE.

“Still thinking how to properly describe Somnia”Just about 5 months ago, I first came across Somnia. At that time, it was unclear to me — and to this day, it still remains that way. Why is that? On one hand, they have a solid team, an active community, and many interesting projects in the ecosystem (for example, Quils — I still hold their NFT since launch). But there are things that I don’t really like: Why is the checker so primitive? Why do so many users still see an “ineligible” status in the checker? Throughout the whole season, their platform was lagging heavily, with many tabs loading for minutes. I don’t know, maybe I’m exaggerating, but these are purely my own observations.
