Somnia is a high-performance Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain delivering 1M TPS, sub-second finality, and sub-cent fees, purpose-built for gaming, metaverses, and real-time applications. The project earned strong community trust through a fair airdrop distribution to testnet participants and consistent post-launch engagement, with many users praising the fast, low-cost experience and polished games like Sparkball and Chunk. While some note early technical issues, occasional app instability, and concerns about long-term utility amid competing L1s, the team's transparency, active development, and community-first approach have cultivated lasting loyalty—many participants remained engaged after token launch rather than departing, a rarity in the space.

“Layer 1”A relatively new layer 1 blockchain offering 1M+ TPS, sub-second finality and sub-cent fees. It's focus is gaming and entertainment. I have not used it however, but I have not seen any negative statements made against them by their community yet. Always dyor if you intend to get involed.

“High potential layer”Somnia feels like one of those projects that’s quietly building something meaningful. The focus on infrastructure for gaming and immersive web3 experiences makes a lot of sense, and you can tell the team is thinking long-term rather than chasing quick hype. Definitely a project worth keeping an eye on as the ecosystem grows.

“Oh this one”Somnia sits pretty much in the middle right now. The idea makes sense, and the project looks like it knows what it wants to be, but it hasn’t really shown anything that fully stands out yet. From a usage and trading point of view, it feels stable, but not particularly exciting. Development and updates seem steady, just not very loud. Nothing feels broken, but nothing screams must-watch either. It’s the kind of project you keep an eye on rather than rush into.

“Trust in a Long-Term Vision”I trust Somnia Network because it feels focused on real execution, not just promises. The vision around gaming, real-time applications, and scalability makes sense, and the progress looks steady. It’s the kind of project that seems built for long-term impact rather than short-term hype.

“Ultra fast gamefi chain”Gamefi's network chain is fast, and that's understandable, as delays are a barrier to in-game transactions on gaming platforms. And yes, this is a key advantage Somnia emphasizes. Every transaction in the game feels so fast that I even feel like I'm not making a transaction in the game.

“Somnia Infrastructure That Actually Respects Builders”Somnia is quietly building something a lot of Web3 projects talk about but rarely execute well: reliable, developer-first infrastructure that doesn’t trade usability for decentralization. What stands out is their focus on performance + composability. The stack feels designed for real applications, not just demos fast execution, predictable behavior, and tooling that doesn’t fight you every step of the way. That matters if you want serious builders to stay long-term. I also like that Somnia isn’t chasing empty narratives. The roadmap feels intentional, the communication is clear, and the product direction shows they understand what builders and users actually need not just what sounds good on X.

“**Somnia Network: Big Vision, Execution Will Define the Impact**”@Somnia_Network feels bold and ambitious, especially with its focus on real-time, on-chain experiences like gaming and social apps. I’m intrigued by the technical vision and momentum, but I’m also cautious. Big promises are exciting, yet long-term execution and community follow-through will matter most.
